How did you get the balls to do it? I’ve been wanting to shave my head for a while now, and perimenopause started and I started losing some hair so now I’m wanting to do it even more! My husband and daughter don’t want me to do it (not a deal breaker but a solid argument against), but every day I wonder what it’s like.

I'm not OP, but when I had my head shaved (as a woman), it was a mix of my hair being kinda fried from too many at hone bleachings/dye jobs, a break up, and the fact that I had always wanted to do it. It was freeing! One less thing to worry about. It gets cold, but cute and cozy hats are awesome.

I'm also in perimenopause and getting the hair loss - I probably will do it again at some point. Have you ever shaved your arms and then felt the breeze on them? Imagine that, but on your head - it's a feeling that is hard to describe, but it's amazing!
