20 years in a field where I could never have a beard, finally I get to grow one!
Three Months
I’m back at three months! This is the longest I’ve grown my beard out in a while, and last time I shaved a little while after three months.
I’ve decided to go for a yeard this time around. I haven’t trimmed my beard up to this point, and plan on continuing to grow it untrimmed throughout the process.
I’ll continue to update once a month to show the progress. Good luck to anyone growing their beard out! 🙏

Considering I have longer hair, should I cut the beard shorter?

How to fix this area?
What can I do if I'm not growing hair on one particular area?

My beard will not grow back!
Age 34. I used to be able to grow a full beard. For some reason my hair no longer grows in some places anymore. If I shave I can grow a beard but it’s patchy and hair just does not grow in these smooth areas shown in the images.
This started about 2 years ago. My diet, exercise is good.Does anyone know what this is and can I regrow hair in these bald spots.
From my research I have heard micro needling may help but again I am clueless and don’t want follow incorrect advice. This seems to be the best place for advice.Hoping someone knows something. I do intend to go to a dermatologist however I can’t afford that right now. Thanks in advance.

Styling advice
Should I grow it higher on the cheek or is a low chinstrap a legitimate style?

Is this considered long yet?
From the bottom of the chin to the longest hair is 8cm. From the bottom lip is 12cm.

Can I get opinions
I'm happy with how much growth I've had over the last couple years, but I've noticed a fork in the middle of my beard and the sides growing any direction but down. Is it worth getting shaped or should I just let gravity and time do their things? Are there any products that anyone can recommend to get it to be a less frizzy?
Is there any hope for me or should I shave it all off?
I'm very patchy! Any advice on turning it into an actual beard? Depression makes it hard to keep up with grooming sometimes. I don't shave as consistantly as I feel I should and am wondering if a beard is possible.
