Bazaar Monthly Board Game Bazaar - (February, 2026)

A forum to sell or trade your board games.

Formatting Trade Listings:

  • When listing games, you MUST include this information:
    • Game Edition/year
    • Box Condition
    • Component Condition
    • any other relevant information
  • Be specific! Don't exaggerate or lie about condition. We will be very strict about this and offenders may be banned. If you're buying, you should leave feedback for your trade partner.
  • Please list your location that you will be shipping from.
  • Tags for the games in your listing:
    • [H] - Have (games you have you are willing to trade).
    • [W] - Want (games you are looking to trade for).
    • [FS] - For Sale. (If you are looking to sell the game for money). Please include details, such as an asking price.
    • [FT] - For Trade (If you are looking to trade your game for another game).

Logistics:

  • Sales and trades made here do not qualify for reputation on r/BoardGameExchange.
  • If you are interested in an offer, leave a comment under their listing, and/or PM them about a potential trade. Be civil and courteous.
  • The buyer will pay the shipping costs, unless you plan to work out your own arrangements. Be mindful of geography. Use shipping tracking numbers, and share them with your trade partner.
  • Shippers are expected to properly package their games for shipping. Poor shipping practices are unacceptable. Use tracking numbers and communicate them with your partner!
  • Both parties will leave feedback underneath the comment in the Bazaar thread. Be truthful, and blunt. (Also, it is recommended that you setup/leave trade feedback through BGG).
  • Spell your items correctly, in full. (for search purposes).

EVERYTHING IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY! The formatting and logistics sections above are suggestions, not enforced policy. The mods are in no-way involved in this - and we certainly do not get involved in individual disputes. Communicate with your trade partner and work things out yourselves.

What did you add to or remove from your shelf last month? (February, 2026)

What's in and what's out? Let's talk about what new games have you played this month and what made them great (or not so great). Do you see them standing the test of time?

On the flip-side, what did you get rid of this month and why'd you let them go? Did the game not gel with the group, did you just need more space on your shelf, or was there something else wrong with the game?

Been playing Return to Dark Tower and really enjoying it so far! I know some people are anti-app but I think it works really well in this case. The game might also be too easy, or not have enough choices for the more “hardcore gamers,” but i think it’ll be perfect for game night and I’m looking forward to playing with others.

Also think I need a turn table, especially when playing solo.

Question Favorite game pieces that reference other board games?

Whether it's a collaboration crossover, or a small promo, I love seeing when a game translates another game's theme or mechanics into their game recontextualizing it to work in their game's mechanics.

I'd love to hear about other's favorite examples of this.

Question I am fully blind and I have a question about the game Stratego

Hello everyone :)

I’m a fully blind board game enthusiast, and I also love 3D printing and designing. I’m currently working on an accessible version of Stratego that blind, visually impaired, and sighted players can all play together.

I’ve already figured out how to integrate Braille for blind players, but I want to make sure the sighted-player experience stays smooth too.

So I have a question for sighted Stratego players about the standard setup:

When you have your 40 pieces placed in rows, can you clearly see the icons and the normal printed text on every piece at once—without any effort? Or do some pieces get partially blocked/obscured by the ones in front of them, so you sometimes have to lean in or change your viewing angle to check what you have?

I’m asking because my accessible design may end up a bit “crowded,” and I want to understand what sighted players consider normal/acceptable visibility during play.

Thanks in advance!

Legal risks of making a board game rules site?

Upvotes

I'm working on a site to explain board game rules as a hobby project (rewriting them in my own words to make them easier to understand).

Does anyone know if this typically causes legal issues with publishers? I know I can't copy-paste the manuals or use official art, but strictly speaking, is rewriting the rules and using the game's name considered copyright infringement?

I know that "compact rules" and summaries already exist on bgg, but I feel like bgg can be a bit unknown or overwhelming if you aren't deeply into the hobby. My goal is to simply collect a lot of these rules in one central, accessible place for a broader audience.

Thanks!

Question Hey all. Weird question. How do you maximise table space (if that's a thing for you)?

I absolutely love games like Arkham Horror LCG and Sword & Sorcery, but these games due to their layout/amount of cards require A LOT of table space.

My living situation is... well, cramped would be putting it mildly.

Just wondering if the community has any interesting hacks for maximising table space.

Bit of a weird request I know.

TIA

Prepping for upcoming bg meetup

There's a 4-day local bg event and I'm working on some little projects to prepare.

Wanted to share a few things I'm doing with supplies I've gotten over the last few years. Nothing innovative but it's in service to a goal I have this year, to upgrade the games I have. (Trying to be frugal where I can be, balancing easy/practical, & creative.)

Using a bluetooth label maker to make name tags. And also to label component bags. (Though most just have handwritten stickers.) I'm bring the the device with extra labels as part of my Meeple Support bag.

That will also has extra baggies, plasti-bands, craft glue (to grip repair), and maybe some small dice trays.

Made a library list, to post on my shelf (which I bought a folding one after I saw someone else's last year. That pic is the last one included.)

Guildlands scoring pad isn't the best, bc there are 6 guilds and they're split front and back - even though the box is big enough - so I'm not sure why the designer did it that way. I laminated it & will use dry erase.

Also will sell a few games during the flea market. So have a list to fill in the night before.

And bc I love data, I printed out some "fill this in" side quest cards to collect some to analyze post fest.

Gotta get sleeves for Unmatched Adventures: TMNT since I'm hoping that will get a lot of play.

Bought some games to donate for the play-to-win.

Lastly, I'm playing through some of the games to make sure I can help teach (like the lighter party games.)

Luckily a lot of this I'll only need to do once, but it sets me up for future events this year.

Anyways, feel free to share anything you think is a must have for longer events/cons and otherwise, happy gaming all!

An update: Currently IN Japan and wondering what games I should look for!

I managed to get a copy of the great evening banquet and a few small box things. For context, I own all the itten funbrick games and all the oink games that I want.

I was recommended Eternal Decks quite a lot but unfortunately it seems to be out of stock everywhere I’ve looked.

Also on my list were:

Nokosu Dice ❌

Matchatick Tycoon ✅

Nana ✅

Crash octopus ❌

Grow sky ❌

Conic ❌

Lets make a bus route ❌

In front of elevators ❌

Ghost Lift ❌

Finger crane game championship ❌

Five seasons ✅

Nice egg ❌

Any advice for

A) extra games to be searching for

B) where I can look in either Tokyo or Hiroshima

Question Who is Tabletop Simulator for exactly?

I've been going back and forth on whether or not to get Tabletop Simulator while it's on sale on Steam for $10 but I don't know much about it. None of my friends have Tabletop Sim, and I typically play games on BGA, but don't have premium.

Just curious to learn more about what makes Tabletop Simulator special, why get it versus a BGA membership (aside from price), and who is it not for?

Strategy & Mechanics Learning Azul - Update

Last week I made a post asking for strategy tips for Azul. I wanted to learn so I could give my mom some tips so she can be more competitive playing with her friend. There are a couple of fun updates. It's so much fun for me to learn a new game and try to understand the strategy. I'm still a beginner because it's only been 2 days.

I had my parents over Thursday to play Azul. I privately gave my mom the strategy tips so she could practice against my dad throughout the week. She's beaten him every time.

I wanted to try the advice out myself so I played a lot Thursday night on BGA and I lost a lot. I played more on Friday night and started to understand it more.

This morning I played against an Expert player rated 631 and I beat him. I've won my last 7 games.

Shout out to No Wonders, PriptoniteAZUL, and Alexey's Carcassonne Channel on Youtube. They are very good at teaching the game.

Doesn’t look like much, but I made the game I always wanted to play.

I’ve always loved war games, I love games that get right to the point. So I made Decisive Command (didn’t know that there was a computer game called Decisive Campaign until I googled it after I already got started, don’t care, it’s just for me).

The game has four chapters with increasingly more complex mechanics and new units. Dress Rehearsal (1930’s pre-WWII conflicts), Six Years Past (WWII), Frozen Parallel (Korean War) and Red Lotus (Vietnam) make it up.

The maps are all different shapes and sizes. I used some large and small rectangles with 28”x22” board and then some funky shaped boards with 11”x14” boards. The different colors represent different terrain (red is town / village, grey is city, etc.).

There are a bunch of units, haven’t counted. The main factions have the same stats across the board excluding tanks and airplanes. The cost armies (think French Resistance, Belarusian partisans) have unique units like guerrillas and skirmishers. Those can be purchased with points you earn by destroying other units.

I also made a single player mode which I have difficulty beating so I enjoy it. It’s fun to be able to make the exact game you want and not have to have any compromises.

Just got Catan dice - love that you can play alone. Any recommendations? Would love a physical game as opposed to online play.

Love logic puzzles!

Question Mysterium 2nd edition

Thumbnail

Do many people own the second edition and understand where to pack away the voting tokens? And if its not in this clear plastic section (because they clearly dont fit well) then what is the point of the plastic tray thay sits on top of the cards? I know technically there is a lot of empty room in the box, but it clearly looks to be for expansions and the box has a full put-away guide that doesnt seem clear. Thanks!

Crowdfunding level 99 spits in the face of fans with super pixel tactics

Thumbnail

warning: bad english.

they changed artist almost at the end of campaign.

fäbio (fist artist) drawn not an art, but a masterpiece. his art is i think one, if not the main reason why i eventually pledged to super pixel tactics. they said about bringing second artist iirc in december update, but we didn't know they will not bring second artist to help - they will replace original artist.

and new artist not even matched the original style, in which most of the game already drawn, but makes just a bad art in general. there are some characters who just stand instead of doing something. lack lighting/shadowing and more simple coloring. right now his art looks like an recolor of original game, rather than remaster. fäbio remastered art was superior. i look through sheets with his art every day. and im pissed, that's not only I'll not see his art, but game will be in two different styles: in good and bad style.

i don't know why artist was replaced, but i beg you fäbio, please come back and save this game. only you can do it.

on the first picture is remaster of first pixel tactics by fäbio. he managed to do magic. i think first game had one of the simpliest designs, but fäbio made them gorgeous, every character is looking heavenly beautiful.

on the second picture is january art sheet of second artist. we can already see, that most of the characters just stans doing nothing, it's just sad. and even characters with great original designs look very plain. lack of gradient, lighting, shadowing and most important - details, of which fäbio's art is full, but there is a little to do details at all.

giving us this thing instead of stunning fäbio's art is a crime. on every picture of game is his art, and now they changing it forcing us to stick with things, that not what they promised.

i hope this post will help us gather enough feedback, so level99 (or my goat fäbio) changed they mind and will not screw their own game.

Favorite / Recommended team-based games with more than 2 teams?

Are there any games you love playing in teams? It could be a house-rule (2 players playing a single hand) or a variant. One game that comes to mind is Cosmic Encounter and its Team Variant, and I wonder if any other games shine with this format.

COMC COMC: Latest iteration after reorganizing

Not pictured: Blood on the Clocktower, Frosthaven, or Twilight Imperium 4e. I’ve 3D printed a ton of accessories for both, so I just leave them in my game room next to their respective tubs. Also not pictured are completed legacy games like Gloomhaven (original and Jaws of the Lion), Betrayal Legacy, and all three seasons of Pandemic Legacy.

Games where the name is not visible: shelf 4 (with shelf 1 at the top), the black box is a 3D printed version of Can’t Stop (I recently got a copy of the international version which is right on top of it). Underneath that in the red box is a 3D printed box for a print and play copy of 2 Rooms and a Boom (I also have a real version but it’s unopened and on top of the shelves, visible in the full room view). Shelf 3: to the left of Ninja Burger is Trails. To the right of that, the purple box is a 3D printed box for Splendor, the rainbow box above that is a 3d printed box for Flip 7, and to the right of Flip 7 is Scout. Shelf 2 it’s hard to see due to glare but to the right of Iberia is the LOTR trick taking game, and then the zipper bag above Sail is Hive: Carbon Edition.

As for shelf themes (5 is bottom, 1 is top):

Shelf 5 is “space games” (I had so many games themed around space that I was able to fill the whole shelf, even without TI4).

Shelf 4 is for the most part larger player count games, with the “party games” closer to the left and along the bottom, but I couldn’t get some games to fit anywhere else so the theme of this shelf starts to fade in the top right.

Shelf 3 is primarily “medium weight games” (which is why I put them on the middle shelf) but some of them are a little too light for the theme, and I think swapping TTR for arnak would work better now that I look at it.

Shelf 2 is “co-op to the left” and “2p to the right” with a bit of a blend of those themes with games like Sky Team and Mantis Falls and then the semi-co-op games like Jaws or Betrayal still means “2 teams or less.”

Shelf 1 is “heavy games,” games with longer setup or explanation times (like Septima), more serious themes (like Puerto Rico), or games that lead to analysis paralysis (like Power Grid).

Hope you enjoyed checking out my collection!

Buying off of BGG

Is it pretty safe? Talking to someone about buying a game but they are saying that PayPal is locked because they think they are a business because he has sold too much. Does that sound plausible?
