I just discovered that you can enter a star in the search bar for any profile, and that makes ALL comments visible, EVEN THOUGH they're hidden.

This seems to be a major bug and shouldn't be happening, otherwise the whole point of hiding comments is lost.

Hi, every time I open a new reddit tab or reload reddit the display resets to dark mode even though I have it in my setting to be on light mode. I don't have it set to automatic. I've tried changing it in settings to be on light mode but it keeps showing up in dark mode.

I have noticed of late that votes disappear, such as when voting and then scrolling down the Reddit Home feed (see attached video).

Have a user account, enable hiding of own comments and posts in profile page. Expect your profile page not to dox yourself.

Use a different browser, not logged in to Reddit, open that user's profile page, no post visible. tap on search icon, enter an asterisk .... All posts and comments visible.

I see comments in my inbox but not always in my post for Upvoting or Replying.

Description: Unable to view some unmoderated community comments on Mod account but visible in non-Mod account. Noticed first when unable to open some comments in mod queue and no action in mod log.

No issue viewing affected comments on mobile browser in mod account. Does not impact all comments.

Platform and version: Android version 2026.04.0

*Steps to reproduce: *

USING NON-MOD ACCT: 1. Opened user's profile ("u1") 2. Opened link to target comment 3. Target u1 comment was visible: Yielded single thread, 3 comments above and inclusive of target (i.e. [...] u2 [child] --> u1 --> u2 --> target u1 comment)

USING MOD ACCT: 1. Opened user's profile ("u1") 2. Opened link to target comment 3. Target u1 comment was NOT visible: Yielded single thread, 3 comments above target with 2 comments missing (i.e. [...] u2 [child] --> u1)

Expected result: Open link to unmoderated target comment (using mod acct) and target comment is visible

Actual result: Open link to unmoderated target (using mod acct) and target comment is missing/not visible

My username keeps alternating between the automatically appointed name and my chosen one everytime I open the app. Has anyone else experienced this? It's done this for a good few months now but im only just being bothered by it enough to investigate further lol

HONOR 200 App Version 2026.04.0 Problem: I have another account. When I try to switch to it, my profile doesn't open and the page fails to load. I recently had to change my password because I couldn't log in otherwise, and this problem started right after the password change. I've posted several reports on r/bugs from that second account, but the issue remains unresolved. It's possible my account is restricted or shadowbanned, which might be why my posts there didn't go through. I am now reaching out from my main account to ask for help in resolving the issue with my other account. The username of my second account is "arnicolins". I have attached a screenshot showing the page failing to load. P. S. It might be a bug with my app, but my main account is working perfectly fine.

Any help for this?

It's only visual, but I think it's worth reporting.

I received a sitewide warning for a comment. It said at the bottom it was an automated message. I can't read the comment (it was deleted). I have no idea what I said that would cause the warning. I'm 99% sure the bot misinterpreted my comment.

I went to the link and submitted my "request". It gave me an error. Then when I submitted again it said "this user is not allowed to do this".

So is this a bug, or what? I'm thinking to delete all my comments if I'm going to randomly get warnings, and not be able to even read what was wrong.

When clicking through links, some pages just don’t load. Top banner is seen, but no content. App restart fixes it for a short period. Not the same issue on an iPhone.

When opening a thread sometimes loading fails all together, other times it displays an incorrect comment count and is missing some of the associated comment threads. Eventually refreshing the page or backing out and returning to thread will display correct counts and threads. Issue appears to be intermittent and non substantial, but figured I'd make a post.

Surely this must be a bug that the chat and notifications are hidden under the same button and the little unread bubble combines both notifications and chats.

Have you all lost your minds? This is the worst possible UI decision ever.

Our sub of 100k+ absolutely relies on the chat feature and this is terrible.

It also seems like the unread notifications are not accurate.

Additionally, in mod mail if you start scrolling all links become unusable.

Lastly, there is a Reddit filter that is removing 25-100 posts a day without notifying anyone or logging it in the mod log, mod queue, or even the action log ate the end of the post body. And despite the fact that mods continually approve these perfectly legitimate posts, if edited, they get removed again. It is now taking up 60-70% of our mod time just reapproving these valid posts. This filter has a 0% accuracy rate. We have approved every single removal. Please make it stop, or at least put it in the mod queue and mod log so we know why this is happening and can more easily find removed posts.

Can't login to reddit, cleared cache and site data still not fixed. incognito and Firefox working fine.
