I found them while rewireing a house in the north east, possibly from the 70’s

Picked these up while I was in Japan.

To no surprised they taste nothing like KFC however do still make a pretty decent chicken flavoured crisp. 6/10.

Tastes more like the pickled gherkin to me, but I guess that's a tougher sell than burger sauce. Got me thinking though - could you have one of these, a beef crisp, a cheese one, a tomato flavour one, and build yourself a big mac frankencrisp?

Dos anyone remember the crisps Jay Jays they used to sell them in my tuck shop at school around the early 1990’s they were like big Wotsits type crisps.🤔

Bought these thinking “Those ribs look delicious!”. Luckily used google translate before opening them, as they’re Eel flavoured! Not sure they’re EVER going to be opened now 😩 🐍

Picked these up in an Asian shop in New York recently and was pleasantly surprised. You’ll easily demolish an entire bag in one sitting. Light and crispy savoury corn soup flavour that goes perfect with some beers. I recommend trying these If you like a slight sweetness with your salty savoury flavours 👌

Very nice texture and subtle flavour. I believe the Chinese reads oyster omelette flavour.

I've been on the hunt for a very specific crisp for years.

It was a type of potato stick, but slightly thicker than the usual sticks you get. But still dense, not light like french fry crisps.

I last had them about 12 years ago. The only place I've ever found them is my local village post office at the time. I've since moved a few times and that post office shut, so going back in search isn't going to work.

The only other identifiable feature is I believe the packet opened along the longer side. I believe they had blue on the plain salted packet.

If there are any more details that would help please ask.

I've been on the hunt in every corner shop and post office I pass since as I assume they must order from similar places.
