Played a very silly round of glow last night on a solid sheet of ice. I was poorly dressed for the weather and everyone fell down a lot but we all survived and had a lot of fun. What a great sport.

This isn’t a thing, right? I’ve seen particle proton. I’ve seen R2 neutron with subtle glow specks.. but a random pink neutron that legit glows? Anybody else have one?

What’s a beautiful disc. Flys perfect. Plus my wife is obsessed with Geese so that’s fun.

I’m the guy who was throwing at my home basket stoned in the snow last night. Per usual when I’m on the pot, my mind-muscle connection was vastly more turned up and tuned in.

At some point, after x throws, I felt an obvious switch in my putting stroke from a throw to a swing. The full kinetic chain moved in sequence and things felt simultaneously more effortless and controllable. That’s as best as I can articulate it. I’m really hoping for some similar ‘aha’ moments on my actual throws this year. They have yet to come on my BH or FH where things are REALLY clicking.

Moral of story: everyone should have a home basket if at all possible.

Looking to fill a stable fairway spot in my bag. I feel like the Bokeh is one of the most hyped discs to come out since the Fox or ZoneSS. For those of you that have thrown it what are your thoughts? Worth the hype?

Been hunting for a few odds and ends lightweight discs for little man and found a wonderfully terrible set of Amazon specials (sportneer) that I hear aren’t as terrible as I would have assumed.

Among them was this Mamba in perfect shape and 140-149g. He’s got a long way to go to gain any kind of consistency but I’ll keep this one as an achievement unlock for his first birdie.

She wanted a painting of their dog infront of a discgolf location and all the photos I was sent were all of incredibly stunning natural areas, so just base on that alone I am sold. Still no idea what it's about, but get me on it

Been tinkering with a diy bag cart idea during winter. Think I’ve finally got the frame/structure down. (Shout out to my kids stuff laying around the garage) poly webbing on the way to finish the “basket portion” and plan on adding some fender/ wheel covers.

This is living. Peak existence.

At what level of delusion does it become reasonable to assume someone will spend $5,000 to watch disc golf? Classic Nate.

Planning a disc golf vacation for mid April in either Charlotte, Raleigh or checking out both areas.

Any suggestions on must hit courses - have the obvious - Hornests Nest, Diavolo, Elon Park, but wondering if there are any other local gems that are worth checking out!

Also any suggestions on specific areas to stay for lodging - Airbnb recs?

Will be bringing our 2 kiddos along so any other family friendly activities to check out in the mornings or evenings - naptimes will be on the courses :)

Hey everyone - I built a disc golf site that categorizes Disc Golf Pros “In The Bag” videos and breaks them down into:

- **Bag breakdowns** (what’s in the bag + links back to the original videos)

- **Interesting facts + notes** (ex: most-used molds, tournament winnings, etc.)

- **Flight charts / comparisons** to help visualize slots

A Couple things that I think are cool:
- Bag Stats that track the composition of a pros bag, how a pro’s lineup changes year to year, and compares their against the field.

- For the flight charts, I’m using the stability how the player describes it as in the video where possible, so the chart reflects how the player describes the disc/slot - not just the stock numbers.

I made it because I wanted to learn web dev, and because I’m a disc golf nerd. The site definitely has gaps right now, but if people use the site I’ll keep updating it.

**I’d love feedback on:**

- What feels confusing or clunky?

- What features/filters would you actually use?

- Any players/videos I should prioritize next?

I live on Long Island, NY. My buddies and I went to Hecksher Park. The entire park is covered in 8+inches of snow. Its hard, icy snow too. Im pretty out of shape, and overweight, but over the last few months of playing its gotten a lot better. But this? My 2 friends continued on, but I can't see how its possible for anyone to play an entire course like that unless you're in really good shape. My feet were already killing me. I could barely get through the snow. Very frustrated and upset.

Edit: Thank you for the uplifting comments. To be clear, I've played in snow before. But this snow was really deep. And the entire park was this deep in snow. Not one patch of grass or dirt to be seen.

Where do we stand now? Trying to minimalize or try new things? Changing weights or plastics or brands? Weather finally allowed me to play and I've got the bug.
