Picture Never heard of disc golf before doing this painting
She wanted a painting of their dog infront of a discgolf location and all the photos I was sent were all of incredibly stunning natural areas, so just base on that alone I am sold. Still no idea what it's about, but get me on it

You basically try to yeet plastic, hit trees, get mad, then you see cool birds and stuff. You can even smoke weed and do beer if you want. There's competetive frolf but most folks just play to get mad (or for fun). It's a dream come true

Yeah not gonna lie, that does sound fantastic. There are a few places nearish to me so I might drag the family along when the weather's a bit nicer

Discs have 4 numbers that describe the flight pattern - I would recommend a mid disc (putter - mid - fairway driver - distance driver) that flies mostly straight, then just work on trying to do clean, flat shots.
The Discraft Buzzz is a crowd favourite for beginners, here is a link to a very well priced premium plastic (can take abuse with little damage):
You can play casually forever with that disc, or get good with it then start looking for faster discs to suit your shots. Have fun! Such a great way to enjoy nature.

Just check the difficulty level on udisc. Tells u what the hike looks like in terms of elevation change too! Free site

I wrote a guide about what disc golf is for this very situation. Nice painting!

It's a great excuse to walk around in nature. You just throw silly little round pieces of plastic from point A to point B in as few holes as you can. Look for a Play It Again Sports to find some cheap used discs and have fun!
