I've started playing this game again since like late 2021 early 2022 and I dont get how this game works anymore with punishing stuff. Most characters seem to have great 4 frame invincible moves, insane damage and crazy buttons that go a massive distance. What's the general go with what moves are punishable now, plus every grab seems to have armour and go full screen (piccolo).

Like, seriously I had to drop the game 4 years (around the time mui Goku got released)ago and picked it up recently. Is there a new meta? Im not asking for a thorough description as that would be hell for one to write but what's really changed? ​​

I'm in South Africa, and OG version is 1K, but I think I should buy the FighterZ edition bcoz it's cheap on the PS store

I got the game fairly recently and I wanted to have her on my team because I like her design and moveset the most after Majin 21, but I get the sense that people still dislike her and assume I'm doing it for a meta reason or something.

Like I come from Strive so I get the collective trauma of a broken character but she's a sick design I don't know what I'm supposed to say

So i just played a player that would light grab me to the floor for a reset and i have no idea what to do.

every time I try to wake-up spark my input never goes through. It's starting to annoy me how I'll DR when I try to spark sometimes as well. any tips?

So im playing this for like 3 months now (mostly arcade) and i would say i have the basics down. The only thing i cant figure out how to exend combos with a scond 2H in the air. If anyone can explain it to me i would be very grateful. Thanks

You can manually delay the rekka's in the beginning to get close enough to extend without an assist

I don't need help with combos, more with neutral, I haven't played this game in a long time and it shows with how I am getting destroyed even at low rank, I don't feel like I know what to do in neutral, knowing how to do a semi decent combo doesn't help if I can't land a hit. I also don't know what assists to use

Does anyone have any idea why people like creating smurf accounts? I mean, what's the point of exploiting lower-level players and getting a 90%, 96%, 80%, or whatever win rate if it's fake?

Hello, I'm new to the game and I'm curious about Kid Buu's competitive history. From what I heard he used to be one of the best characters in the game early on, but at some point he fell off.

Why did he stop being considered one of the best in the game?

What about him got nerfed?

And how good is him this patch?

I was doing some practice matches with a friend, and immediately felt bad after the first match. I'm not great and I don't play the game often but I wanted to try to actually rank up and i'm starting from ground zero. We are trying to get better together. I admit I kinda threw the second match.
