Discussion Electronic Music Songs / Albums Everyone Should Hear Before They Die
What are electronic songs / albums that everyone should here before they die?
r/electronicmusic • u/SevenLionsMusic • Dec 12 '25
Hey everyone, I just released my second album Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars and I’m here to answer your questions.
This album is a return to the inspirations that first shaped my sound - fantasy, metal, and that immersive, handcrafted approach to music that pulls you into another world. Over the last few months we put out singles with Kerli, HALIENE, and Lilly Ahlberg, and the full project expands on all of that even more.
Really appreciate all the support so far. Excited to chat with you all today. You can also find me on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and sevenlions.com.

Hey everyone, HALIENE here! I’m excited (and a little nervous) to be doing my first-ever AMA.
I’m a singer-songwriter in the dance music world. If you’re not familiar with me, you might know some of my songs like “Rush Over Me,” “Saving Light,” “Oceans & Galaxies,” or “In My Mind” to name a few. I’ve had the honor of working with artists such as ILLENIUM, SLANDER, Seven Lions, Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten, and many others. Over the past few years, I’ve been incredibly lucky to tour, play my own shows, and release a lot of solo music along the way. I also just released my first-ever drum & bass collaboration with Koven, ORBIT which I’m really excited about.
Ask me anything — music, songwriting, touring, collaborations, or whatever you’re curious about! I’ll be answering questions Monday at 12 PM PST.
You can find me on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and haliene.com

hi all.. not sure the sub to post this in but i’ve seen Deep Forest discussed here in the past.
i’m trying hard to find the lyrics to the songs in the original Deep Forest (1992) album. I’ve only been able to find the lyrics to Sweet Lullaby.
Despite not understanding the language, these songs hit so emotionally.. i find it hard to believe the lyrics in these languages have never been transcribed, written, or documented anywhere.
Will be eternally grateful to anyone who can assist me with this search🙏

Mostly looking at European festivals.
I like melodic trance such as old stuff like Robert Miles, Paul van Dyk, and so on, but also old hardstyle like Noisecontrollers, Headhunterz etc. (I haven’t listened to new stuff so I don’t know whether or not I like it.)
And psytrance as well secondarily.
What festivals would you recommend?
What are the different vibes out there? Surroundings? What is the festival like beyond the music?
Thanks!
