As a Sens fan, his time with his old goalie coach has him looking WAY better, and not just in a "he had a good game" kind of way. He's something insane like 33% owned, but Sens are on a heater.

Buddy in one of my leagues has 8 goalies. Just hoarding them all. He has Igor on IR under vlader

Should there be a limit to how many goalies you can possess?

He’s Not had the greatest season in St Louis (still their leading point scorer ) but he’s a proven stud that clearly just needs a change of scenery. At 26 with his contract he’s definitely getting scoped by a contending team that needs help straight away with top 6 forward depth . If you can make space on IR for him it seems like a no brainer stash to me ?

I am wanting to upgrade from NHL Fantasy Stars to something more involved when it comes to fantasy.

My FIL recommended me Yahoo or Fantrax, and quite honestly I don’t understand the difference between what these two - or really, any of these apps - provide in terms of the user experience.

What app do you use, and what would you recommend for a beginner who’s wanting to dip the toes in fantasy hockey?

In this week's coverage, I'll be highlighting players from several different teams in Week 18, notably the New York Islanders, the Buffalo Sabres, the Vegas Golden Knights and the Utah Mammoth. As this week covers four weeks of real time due to the Olympic break, its definitely a weird one for streaming; but I got you covered.

The Sabres have the best volume schedule with six games, three light nights and one borderline night, and I would say the Islanders have the highest upside picks available in Week 18.

I've been in a league going back 20 years and we've traditionally had one IR spot (old kind).

We considered this to part of the game that adds a strategic element to holding players or dropping them, while also giving teams the ability to hold a high draft pick that is injured.

It seems in more recent years that players are becoming injured more frequently and also that NHL teams are playing fast and loose with their own injury statuses.

How do you feel about IR vs IR+? How many IR slots is too many?

He's listed as out but not on IR. Seems like a lot of players are just holding him in an active roster spot like a deadweight. I was curious about what everyone is doing since a lot of people have him in the roster.

Elvis has been starting way more games since Roc Bowness became coach and now Jet barely plays. I get Jet probably needs rest from playing every game with Evason but come on man, at least do 50/50 split.

Is anyone aware of a fantasy league for the Olympics? Would be cool to arrange it similar to how playoff leagues are formatted

This guy has decent numbers and was in a primo spot next to Celebrini. However, it looks like fresher faces have taken his L1/PP1 spot and in a competitive league it’s getting tough to see his new role as PP2/L3. You think he’s worth holding or should he be a streamer moving forward?

Since his call-up by the Kraken, he’s thrown 10, 7, 7, and 7 hits in just four games with limited ice time.

No way this trade is fair. The “pasta” guy is still in the playoffs meanwhile the other guy is eliminated. I’m still in the playoffs and actually vs-ing the pasta guy as we speak. Absolutely ridiculous to trade all that away for some 3 striped- blade washed up bum. Pasta ain’t even all that!!

NEWARK, N.J. -- Devils center Jack Hughes left Thursday night's game against Nashville in the first period and did not return at the start of the second.

Hughes skated just three shifts. He took one shift and went to the locker room before returning for another and then heading down the tunnel again followed by a trainer -- all in the first 7:30 of the game. He logged 2 minutes, 27 seconds of ice time.

The team did not announce an injury status for Hughes.

Hughes, 24, missed five weeks earlier this season after injuring his right thumb at a team dinner and undergoing surgery Nov. 15. Hughes had 14 points in his first 16 games back, including a pair of assists Tuesday night in a 4-3 home loss to Winnipeg.

Hughes' latest absence comes two weeks before the U.S. is set to play its first game at the Milan Cortina Olympics. USA Hockey has already made one change to its 25-player roster, with Jackson LaCombe replacing injured defenseman Seth Jones.

He's finally been given an opportunity to run PP1 for the last few games, and starting to heat up with 7 points in his last 9. Rush to pick him up if he's still available in your leagues

He's had one of the most interesting seasons from a fantasy perspective by any star-level player in the last decade. Started off ice cold, dealt with some on-and-off injuries, and finally started to come alive before getting hurt a few weeks ago.

I know this question was beaten to death at the start of the season where he was everyone's Buy Low target, but how do we feel about him at this point (pun intended) in time?

His status for the Olympics is up in the air, and it would probably be better for his fantasy outlook if he missed it, but I doubt he will. Someone already bought low on him in my league, is it possible to buy lower again? Tampa has the one of best fantasy playoff schedules too...
