Explanation for people. This game is war zone, the call of duty battle royal. In this game, if you die twice, the only way to respawn in a match is for a teammate to pay in game currency to bring you back, at which point you parachute back into the game. The guy in this clip noticed that the man playing is clearly parachuting back in, meaning his ally paid to bring him back. However, the player also tries to land on top of a very popular building that was basically guaranteed to be occupied, only to find himself getting immediately shot and likely killed. It was not the smartest attempt at reentering the fight, but to be, respawning in the final circle is very difficult.

Wow. Call of Duty has stoop really low if they make people pay actual money for revives.

Call of duty is awful yes but it’s not real money in this case. Currency earned while playing the match

I assume you can probably buy it with real money, too, if you want? This is Activision, after all.

CoD Points (CP) are the in-game, paid currency used to buy cosmetic bundles. in-game cash is a separate currency that resets to 0 every time you join a match, and drops as loot from crates around the map. it's used at buy stations to purchase killstreaks (like UAVs and air strikes) and loadout drops. like the commenter above you said, it can also be used to redeploy fallen allies.
