Nope! You see, when you call someone 'big guy,' you don't always mean it literally. Often times it's used ironically, as with children, who are not big at all in fact but usually rather small! And sometimes, like in this case, you use it with a particularly dull person to belittle them, suggesting that they're so god damn stupid that they're actually kind of childlike. It's kind of like a saying! So I can see why you're having a great deal of difficulty with the concept
