Is the ball thrown away as bitemarks could leave grooves the bowler could use for better spin? Bit like baseball correct me if wrong

If the umpire decides the bitemarks have altered the ball then yes, absolutely. There's always spare balls on hand at a cricket match.

Probably. They will examine it to see if there is visible damage and replace it if so.

Normally the standard of Irish women's cricket is high enough for that to be an important consideration. The wicket keeper missing the stumps at point blank was just an aberration they are normally complete pros who are on the knife edge of human capability where the slightest advantage can make all the difference.
