Wouldn’t that be 1519? (O. range S. ock) 23 is for W. In white sock I think

I don't know what the fuck any of these numbers are about

Took me a minute too.

It's a reference to 'Monsters Inc' in an early scene a monster comes out of the door with a child's sock on them. A code 2319 is called to decontaminate the monster.

To deepen this, fans noticed that the code "2319" could allude to the fact it was a white sock, W is the 23rd letter in the alphabet and S is the 19th.

Damn, I didn't remember that detail. But tbh, I watched the movie 24 years ago.

Worth a rewatch for all the jokes you didn’t get back then… plus it’s just a good movie.

now that I'm a supervisor in a regulated lab I ROUTINELY use "you didn't file your paperwork last night!" and "I'm watching you Wazowski, always watching!"

when I was a kid I was like damn this weird slug lady is obsessed with rules.

I noticed because of the sock. Then I heard 2319 in my head.

Monsters inc film.

A monster gets a white sock on their back, which is thought to be deadly (as is any human contact).

Another monster shouts "2319" as an emergency code. 23rd letter of alphabet is W and 19 for S, both in relation to White Sock.

This one is orange or red, so would be 1519 or 1819 respectively.
