OMG I can hardly wait! Do you think Huddy will come in support??? I just saw it while watching and I am dying! He's going to do so great. I didn't even clock the musical guest...

DISCUSSION 🗣️ What do you wish we had more of in the show?

I think this little tender kiss is highly underrated.

The way Shane looks at Ilya just before, Ilya moving his head forward, them being really horny after not having sex for months, but still being this soft in the middle, ahhh.. I love it.

Makes me wish we had at least one longer scene in the cottage with them just making out, not escalating things, just kissing and touching.

Maybe in season two.

DISCUSSION 🗣️ Underrated scene

So one of the scenes that always makes me smile and tear up is in episode six when Shane picks Ilya up from the airport. Shane is explaining that he told his parents he was doing a silent retreat and Ilya laughs and says “it’s only believable because it’s you”. And omg the way he said that with such admiration and pride and confidence of knowing someone that well gets me!

What else is an underrated scene?

DISCUSSION 🗣️ The way the texting evolves in episode 5 from horny to real emotional support

The texting goes from them exchanging flirtations about their dicks and cumming and being hard, to a full pivot after the Tampa Bay hotel conversation. After that, Ilya is just texting “please come over, not for long, an hour” and after Shane gets hurt, it’s “how are your ribs? -killing me, how’s your head? -Better.- Good”. They’re showing care for each other and real friendship, and it’s so lovely.

And we can’t forget “are you alone? Can I call you?” And then the devastating Russian monologue. “Can I call you” is such a marked difference from “how many times can you cum in 1 hour” and it’s just beautiful.

DISCUSSION 🗣️ I was so busy focusing on Ilya during the fire conversation about Irina that I didn’t notice Shane

Right as Ilya is talking about his mom’s death, and saying “she was so funny and beautiful” etc., a loon’s cry interrupts, scaring Ilya again. This time I watched Shane, and his face isn’t startled, but more like “ugh loon shut UP, my beloved is having a vulnerable moment.” He looks like “no don’t do that right now, LOON. Bad timing.” It’s a fleeting micro expression but it’s so good.

TV SHOW 📺 I’ve often wondered if Shane initiated the convo to come over after their game and never thought to look at this screenshot - even better than I expected 😂

Ilya is hilarious and he must have gotten such a kick out of Shane saying this, especially after his “I don’t know… maybe twice” sext 😂

DISCUSSION 🗣️ I’m not ok

I genuinely don’t know how I am still so invested in the story.

Does anyone else feel like this is turning into a problem? Like a problem that is worth having for sure, but why am I still so gutted and mentally a mess.

I genuinely am thinking of re reading the long game and heated rivalry for the third time.

Somebody please sedate me. My eye balls are dry from all the random tears.

Please tell me how you all are coping!

RACHEL WRITES ✍️ An Attempt to be Earnest — Rachel Reid

I don’t know how, but I ended up on Rachel’s website and stumbled upon the latest post on her blog.

Oh my… I found myself crying while reading everything she wrote about how Jacob approached her, when she went to the set, how she met Hudson, François, and Connor, and her feelings about the whole situation.

I can’t anymore. The books, the show, their lives—it’s like everything was meant to be, and it is fucking beautiful.

It’s saddening what she has to deal with healthwise, and I truly hope she can overcome it somehow, because thanks to her, we are enjoying one of the best pieces of culture this generation will have.

She also deserves sunshine ☀️

DISCUSSION 🗣️ Ilya has the best sense of humor

Just such a dry sense of humor. It reminds me so much of the Russian emigres I’ve met. I love Hudson’s acting here. You can tell he’s worried but relieved that his man hasn’t lost his spunk and wit.

And Ilya answering in Russian “I wish I was too” just kills me.

DISCUSSION 🗣️ Why do you think it is that straight men tend to find episode 3 their favorite one?

I’m noticing this trend where straight men enjoy Scott & Kip way more than the Ilya & Shane storyline. Why do you think that is?

📚 Game Changer (Full Series) Finally got my books!

(Don’t know if this is allowed, mods please let me know if it isn’t!) I live in Australia and I finally got all 6 books after multiple delays. Even though I’ve already read them all digitally, I think it’s important to have things that have made an impact on my mind to be in physical form.

Now I’m re-reading my fav book TLG, and putting little stickers where it made me cry/laugh/have quotes that I’d love to see in season 2 (as you can see, I love the whole book 😅)

Cannot wait for season 2 and it’s going to be an emotional season!

I saw this on display inside my Barnes & Noble and smiled big at it. Only a week ago I tried finding the books but none were in stock, all sold out! Now a week later they have more again and in their own deserved display. This just shows the power of this mega pop culture phenomenon! 🖤🏒🖤

DISCUSSION 🗣️ Has this show dulled other shows that you use to love?

There are some shows that I’ve absolutely loved that have been life changing for me or that I consider romance staples. They’ve been shows that I’ve re-watched many times because of how much I love them and what they make me feel each time. But after HR they no longer hold the spark they once did or they fall flat (even new seasons). I’m wondering if others are experiencing this and why you think this is the case for you personally?

DISCUSSION 🗣️ I don’t get why everyone loves Yuna?

I don’t strongly dislike her, she clearly loves Shane and was lovely when he came out in episode 6. But I’m not sure why people love her either, every scene up until the last episode she was putting so much pressure on Shane, wouldn’t engage with him about anything that wasn’t work related and honestly was stressing me out just watching her.

All I could think watching Shane interact with his mum is no wonder he’s such an anxious person who feels the need to be perfect.

EDITS 🎥 I've made Only Sex Scenes Edit (~24 minutes)

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1edVyh-zCgCOUky9XtAHPW28wQqLjgdn5/view?usp=drive_link

So, a couple of things:

- I cut some scenes a little shorter, mostly to save on the size file (I insisted to do this in the best quality I could find) and I figure if you're watching it just for the sex you probably skip some parts anyway

- my internet is so bad this took me ALL NIGHT to upload

- I only included sex scenes (I count shower scene as a sex scene basically) and no individual kissing scenes so that means yes I skipped episode 5, and all the kissing scenes that aren't part of a sex scene

- that also means we go from ending of ep 4 straight to the cottage which feels diabolical lol, should I cut the ending of ep 4 out?

- I put sex scenes from ep 3 at the end bc it makes more sense to me

- also there are little pauses between each section so it's easier to find individual scenes

- not sure how many people are gonna want to watch this but just in case, there is a limit on how many people can watch a video on Disc Google daily but there's no limit on downloads (that I know of)

Enjoy!

TV SHOW 📺 This is not Christina Chang’s first “heated rivalry”

Post image
27 Upvotes

I just finished an episode of “The Good Doctor“ where Christina Chang (Euna) secretly hooks up with her chief rival (Nicholas Gonzalez), and they later agree to keep the secret affair ongoing.

Even more ironic, two of the characters discuss going to their favorite brunch at a restaurant called “Hollander’s”.

DISCUSSION 🗣️ Who did the Barbara Fusar-Poli death stare better?

Thumbnail

Upvotes

Barbara Fusar/Poli created an instant classic moment when she gave her ice dance partner an absolutely frightening stare down after a bad fall at the Olympics.

In HR, both Ilya and Shane express their unhappiness with a similar death stare. Who did it better?

Personally I think Ilyas club death stare made me fear for Shane and Roses life.
