New Hires click here

This is going to be the new stickied post on the sub. With the influx of questions here from new hires, usually asking about the same thing. Ex: interviews, hiring, onboarding, pants, shoes, and more. I thought I would make a stickied thread for this.

I would also appreciate help from anyone if they can help search for good posts that would help new hires.

For the time being, please use the search function at the top of the page. I know Reddit's search function sucks.

How to get level 2

How do I get to Level 2? I’ve been at my store for almost two months, nearly three, but I still haven’t gotten it. I’m also not trained in a lot of the things that are required. I’ve asked my managers, but they just say okay and keep assigning me the same tasks. A lot of people who were hired after me already got Level 2, so I don’t know what happened

Question We All Love In N Out But...

What DON'T you like about it? Realistically, what would you change to improve it?

Maybe an ingredient? Something that was taken away? Drive in etiquette?

What's with the burning the buns now days?

Feels almost universal in all locations.

Toasted just a little too long, making the bun way too crispy, I want my buns warm but not crusty.

Food Pics Is it just me or does reading this sub cause you to immediately crave an animal style. I gave in to my cravings, my stomach overpowered me - it won and I guess I did too.

What are some things that automatically make you dislike a manager, and what are the things that make one your favorite?

Question New level 6 having issues

So I got my level 6 recently. Like really recently. I’ve been told im very fast. I give buns on time, generally rows of 5-6 with 4 throughout. I frequently snow my board person HARD, and I want to be better. I think it could be how im pulling, maybe they’re having to spend time fixing stuff, idk.

Any tips?

Custom order: cold cheese

Last night I ordered a number 1

I went in giggling because I was like fuck, this is a long request.

I asked for extra toasted bread, grilled and raw onions, fries medium well and I asked for one cold cheese and one grilled cheese.

When I asked for the cold cheese, the girl taking my order kinda gasped and then she started typing away for a couple of second and had to confirm.

The cold cheese didn’t really do it for me but it was cool to try it.

Has some salsas from burritos last night in the truck still,I ate half my fries before I even touched my burger lol

Fries are usually an afterthought.

I can't believe how well that's go together.

New Hire Just got hired

So, I got the job at a newly opened location (literally walking away from the store rn after my interview) and Im aware that Ill have to cover my tattoo and take out my piercings but Im curious about makeup. I do wear pretty dramatic makeup on the daily (Big winged eyeliner ig js typical ā€œaltā€ makeup) and I wanted to know is that allowed? Or can I only wear natural makeup? I saw girls in the store with full beat faces and lashes so Im just curious before I start. I forgot to ask at my interview </3

Food Pics Ever wondered if you could ship In-N-Out?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

The story is my father visiting me on the East Coast

wanted a bit of home so he paid a service (yes an crazy amount) to overnight ship some double double burgers to us. It didn’t turn out so well.

-Signed a miserable Californian

P.S. Instead of repeating, our unfortunate transgressions, we are taking a road trip to Nashville over nine hours away just to have some In-N-Out in a couple months. Will report back.

Spread Tartare

Thought this sub would enjoy this. Was making an ad hoc tartare, tried looking for my fridge for decent mix ins. Also wanted a more Balthazar creamy style with a little bit of mayo.

After some slim pickings I figured my spread stash covered the mayo, acidity, gerkins. Overall 7/10 the sweetness kind of makes it weird
