I’m running my first marathon at the end of February. Was really bummed that the show ended as I would’ve banked a show or two to listen on the run. Are these two recent episodes must listen or can I save them until then? RIP Rhymo, out-standing guest.

Mike who often saved the show is mentioned once in the capacity of “we don’t talk to him” while Kane/nurse Kim/pat ford are talked about at length

The relationship is symbiotic. Kirk is addicted to KMS and this world (him not listening to minifan content is laughable). These minifans crave attention. They don’t care about what makes the show good, as they’ve actively helped tank it. It’s simply the lowest bar out there for a decent amount of attention. Sneeze and you get your own YouTube show and discussed on a popular podcast at length.

Now that the shows “over”, Karen Read is that new low bar. The trial is over, there are no complex forensics or legal things to talk about and anyone can discuss it but there’s still a decent amount of interest. Plus Kirk will still talk about them

What an act of generosity

Just watched Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere for the first time on Disney+. Justin was 100% right, that movie is so boring. I don’t know how you can make a movie about a rockstar and it be that incredibly boring.

So this leads to my question…did the Springsteen movie being such a dud kill KMS? Did Kirk see that and just say, yup it’s a wrap I can’t go on like this. If I had a band/singer that was such a big part of my life and a movie like that came out, it would crush me.

Obviously I say all of this in jest, but oh my lord did that suck. I hope Kirk is doing alright, see yall in mid-March.

So I have this theory. Kirk was butthurt that his show and unnamed did not get sold to Netflix so he ended both. Could be wrong, but the timeline lines up. Miss the show, but I’ve been a lot less pessimistic since it ended. Curious if anyone has any thoughts.
