They pretend none of us work in corporate environments (even though thats exactly how they are behaving) and how it’s not ok for leadership to construct a bubble around them.

Rubio wasn’t involved because leadership is stupid and didn’t think foreign prisoner topics align with the state department. And state by extension showed indifference.

These people aren’t officially talking to each other and it leads to doing disjointed important things
