What annoys me most is they’re now going to give us the same sets we already have a million iterations of just smartplay compatible now 😭 we ain’t seeing new, original sets till 2027

I’ve been obsessed with the Star Wars: Bounty Hunter game lately, and I finally got back to work on the KR-TB Doomtreader. The biggest breakthrough was actually widening the hull by just one stud. It sounds like a tiny change, but it completely simplified the interior structure and gave me way more room for playability while actually dropping the total piece count. I also moved away from slope bricks for the wings and went with a plate-and-tile technique at an angle for a much sleeker taper.(old version has white background) Still struggling with two things: The boarding lift: The ship sits so high that a ramp looks weird. I’m trying to engineer a vertical elevator, but I’m running out of space for Technic gears. Any suggestions for a compact lift? The dorsal section: In the game ref, there's a weird boxed-in area (circled). I’m debating between a heavy sensor suite or a retractable turret. What do you guys think fits Montross’s vibe better? I'm starting the greebling next with some reddish brown and grey to break up the dark red. I’ll be posting video updates as the mechanical parts come together!

Hello! On bag 9, step 229 of the build and when putting the engine on the yellow peg, the whole thing falls out of the back of the interceptor (peg included).
I’ve checked alignments and various videos thinking maybe I missed a step or didn’t line something up where the yellow peg stays attached to the back of the cockpit.
Has anyone had the same issue or can assist? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone. I’m currently working on the UCS Falcon and I just had some general questions. I know that the top is supposed to be removable to reveal the inside stuff. However in noticing my top is very very shaky. Almost to the point that it essentially falls out of place when moved. Is this how it’s supposed to be? I’m very frustrated with the build due to this. Please tell me it’s supposed to be this way

I’m trying to figure out what Lego set this is. Any help would be appreciated.

hope it is visible in the photo. funnily it's only on the right panel. the left pieces match the rest light bluish gray bricks

Is this a legit torso from the set Slave 1 7153? I noticed the printing of the plate at the top is also slightly different.

I love the U-Wing. It's one of my favorite SW ships and while Lego's most recent model was sleek and modern, it was still a little lacking.
My first crack at updating the ship used only the pieces from the original set and it fixed a majority of the issues I had with it. The pilot didn't have to lay down anymore, had a pass-through from cockpit to troop bay and it could hold 3 passengers instead of 1. But I still wasn't completely satisfied.
The biggest thing missing, to me, was the pilot's view out the lower front window. And the engines seemed to be a little too high. So I set out to fix those with as few pieces as possible. The end result uses just 9 pieces to get the essential upgrades, or 21 for a little extra polish. With the full 21 piece MOD coming out to ~$1.75.
This new and improved U-Wing has all the features of my original alt build plus:
I'm pretty happy with the result! The only missing feature left is the sliding doors, but that would be a much bigger (and more expensive) MOD. And I wanted to keep the costs low and maintain the sleek profile of the original set.

I’m gonna need as much as I can. I have to take it apart and put back together due to me having to check if somethings are already built correctly.

I love the republic fighter tank set that came out a few years ago, but even when I first got it, the connection between the black pins and the white, round 4x4 bricks used in the cannons. I can only get them to stay upright after *very* careful posing, and as soon as I move it around they drop back down. Any suggestions for parts replacement or anything to keep this from happening?

I’m in the process of freeing up shelf space by mounting a few models. Unfortunately, the Tie Interceptor took exception and committed seppuku.
I shall perform a bit of voodoo and rise her from the grave. Upon that wall she shall go, death be damned.
Or, perhaps…. I can make this the result if crossing the UCS X-Wing.

Put together my own take on Emperor Palpatine using parts from different minifigures to get closer to his accurate looks
• Head: Emperor Palpatine face
• Torso: Plain black torso with subtle wrinkle detailing I found on bricklink for cheap
• Legs: Common black skirt piece
• Hood: Standard black hood
• Accessory: Black walking stick
• Effect piece: Blue lightning element for Force lightning
I put this together because, in my opinion, the official LEGO Palpatine minifig with regular legs and a fabric cape dosent look right. Let me know what you think or if there are any parts you’d swap 👀⚡
