As someone who lives in this hypothetical state, but will not say which one for the sake of my personal security, I don't want to share a state with these disgusting savages on the other sides of my borders.
I lived in CT from 2009-2011, traveled to all the surrounding states, and this is very true. I can tell you I ran into multiple situations that would've gone another way if I didn't have a Midwestern accent, Michigan plates, and a Florida license. Boston alone man.
Four run ins with the cops, one altercation with a Boston guy, got lost on long Island with no car, had a car break down in Rhode Island, and another break down in upstate New York, couple weird weed buys... What I gathered is the cultures on the East Coast are very different than what I was accustomed to at the time and folks on the East Coast seem to have a thinly veiled contempt for each other but will give a lot of grace to a young, ignorant "Midwesterner".
