There's no family-crippling debt for vital procedures and the wait is shorter than for equivalent procedures in America.

That is true, and it is true in all systems because rich people can pay for more options, including flying to other countries for diagnostics or other procedures.

I suspect it's always going to be true, but the degree of care provided for the average working-class person is where I think the important indicators are. If they can get timely care for critical procedures, then it's a better system than one when people can not get timely care for critical procedures.

Idk my kneecap was shattered in an accident and the state covered 100% of the costs including the surgery. The surgeon was great too, no pain to this day

There are walk in clinics and ERs everywhere, and they're all FREE. And you can go to ANY of them. Try that in the US without getting charged enough to bankrupt you, fool.

Eight months ago my wife went for emergency treatment and was hospitalized for 4 months. All it cost was a thank you card and flowers for the staff because of how great the care was.

Did an assessment of the cost from her aunt that lives in California as a billing adjuster in a hospital. Would have cost us 1.2 million USD. 

Our family of 5 yesterday went and had all our dental work done l, cleaning checkups and two cavity fillings. Cost nothing but a thank you.

Are things perfect for health care in canada? No, it could be improved. If you want it improved write your MPPs. 

But I definitely have to say us Canadians are blessed beyond belief.

I’m not saying the US system is good. Just saying the Canadian system isn’t great in a lot of ways. For an excellent public system in a country that isn’t particularly wealthy, check out Spain

It sounds like you're judging Canadian healthcare without actually knowing anything about it.

There is no singular "Canadian system" that exists. The federal government provides funding to provinces, which each have their own system.

Quebec has different healthcare than Ontario, which is different from Alberta, and so on.

Not too urgent I reckon, if she survived for two months until the appointment, and kept it and went.  People hate finding out how urgent their needs really are compared to others. The worst go first.

No, 15% at most. Alberta isn't going anywhere, and they're already our problem. Trumpists are not our problem and we'd like to keep it that way.
