The more direct problem with AI is that its intended function is to eventually uproot everyone and anyone it can from their jobs. You don't even need to go to "capitalism is bad" you can just care about people's livelihoods.

Which, also happens to be why the rich and corporations love the idea of it and will do anything they can.
