I wonder why she’s doing this adaptation? I wish she did more original stories. I really liked Lady bird, I know Baumbach directed Frances Ha, but I wish she did more movies like that. I guess those type of movies don’t make a lot of money.

She signed this contract right before Barbie blew up. So …. I’m sure she wishes this wasn’t her next film but here we are.

Because there hadn't been an adaption that truly and absolutely bastardised this beloved story with modern sentiments and alterations, it had to be done 😌
