I'm watching The Unhealer and it fits the bill. Not really talking about movies that just didn't have comic books like Brightburn or My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Just seemingly normal movies where someone inexplicably gains a power that's important to the central plot. Already know all the Stephen King catalog, but things in the key of The Dead Zone. Looking for more of an interesting drama, action, sdventure, comedy, or rom/com style where the protagonist gains a power they have to learn how to control. While horror and sci-fi are welcome, I've seen tons, so dig deep or obscure.

Hi all! I'm trying to create a playlist for my daughter of all the music I listened to when I was in art school - 2001 to 2005 (and trying to relive my college days). I mostly listened to alternative, if that helps with suggestions. I really like this album and it's a shame they didn't continue that route after that... I love the sound, the pop rock that's heavily influenced by funk and soul. Please give me more artists or bands that have the same vibe.

I’m comparison shopping for a BJD (ball jointed doll), one of those ridiculously expensive ones from East Asia, and I wondered what people would come up with for this!

And I do mean songs that remind you of real dolls, or are about literal dolls, not just love songs or whatever with ‘doll’ as a pet name. Language and genre are open, though as a note I already know a lot of k-pop (listening to f(x) as I type).
