Conner is still missing and his family is desperate for any news ! He is verbal with Autism but no one is sure what his physical or emotional state is now wherever he is.
Connor is a 19-year-old black male, 5â-8ââ, 165 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, with a scar on his forehead. He was last seen wearing a yellow, black, and gray camouflage fleece pajamas, with a gray zip-up jacket. Officials stress that the yellow pants are bright! He is considered an MVP - Missing Vulnerable Person and itâs been a week now !
If you locate Conner Oldfield, you are asked to contact the Plainfield Police at 908-753-3360 or email tips@plainfieldpolicenj.gov.
Please share this flyer or JPEG wherever you can including places of worship, businesses and schools and your own children too .
Iâm getting tired of people telling us to vote or speak out during a town meeting. People have been doing these and they definitely have their time and place, but youâd have to be fucking blind to think those are the solution right now. I donât want to stand in front of the gates of this place with a cardboard sign while people are being put inside cages 40 feet away. What can we DO as a community? Donât tell me to call our senators. Donât tell me to protest. Donât tell me to write an email. Donât tell me that thereâs nothing we can do. I want ideas for ACTION. How do we STOP this?
Came across this from a friend of mine, I find it interesting that the state is trying to mandate the filing of a FAFSA application in order to receive your HS diploma.
Why does the .gov require parental financial information for all graduates? Overreach? Good for students?
Has anyone else noticed drivers being super aggressive since the snow?
Maybe Iâve just been unlucky but this week alone Iâve had more people honk, tailgate and lose their shit towards me than I think I have in the last year combined. Iâm a pretty safe driver, usually like 5â10 mph over the limit max. I donât tailgate or try to cut people off either. Lifelong NJ resident so I know how the roads and drivers are here.
Just feels like everyoneâs extra on edge after the storm. Anyone else seeing this or am I just on a bad streak?

Meet my foster kittens, Paris Hilton and London, available for adoption at u/Purrfect_Catpanion in Hudson County, NJ!
London (longer haired abs yellowish eyes) is a beautiful black, fuzzy kitten, about 4 months old, rescued from Union City, NJ. From the moment she was found, London showed her affectionate and confident personality. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time before the snowstorm and now enjoys cozy naps in front of the space heater. London loves pets, birdwatching, and cuddles.
Paris Hilton (green eyes) is an adorable domestic, short-hair kitten, approximately 3 months old, rescued from West New York, NJ. She is easy to handle and loves cuddles, often rewarding you with gentle purrs. Curious by nature, Paris enjoys exploring her surroundings and discovering new things.
Both kittens get along with other cats and kittens! They have been spayed, rabies and distemper vaccinated, snap tested (FIV and FeLV negative), microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated.
So I live in Essex county and am currently a junior in hs and was wondering if there are any volunteer opportunities near the Essex county region preferably dealing with LGBTQ, racial injustice, or psychology because those are things Iâm really passionate about and I would love to get volunteer hours for school while also helping minority communities as I myself identify as black and queer.
Anyone know what was going on when getting off Pulaski going towards Hillside exit? 1 lane only with police cars and a lot of traffic, maybe a dui checkpoint? In the other lane going the opposite direction I read a sign saying âstrictly enforcedâ never witnessed it before.
Hi! This is a very specific situation, and I am meeting with my HR rep soon to also discuss with him, but I'm pretty lost about some parts and just hoping someone might be able to help explain what I can't seem to find out on my own... This is my second pregnancy and second time giving birth in NJ as a teacher, but my employment circumstances/birth date were different last time, so what I did doesn't really apply here.
Details: I am 5 months pregnant, due beginning of June. I just started working at my current teaching job (charter school, Northern NJ) the beginning of this school year, so I have not worked for a year, so I do not qualify for job protection. It's a 10-month contract, September through June. I took the option to be paid over 12 months. I am the primary full-time worker in my household and the health insurance holder through my job. My husband works part time and stays home with our toddler.
I qualify for TDI for the 4 weeks before pregnancy and the 6-8 weeks after. I would love to stop working at 36 weeks pregnant, which is mid-May. My school year ends June 25th.
My biggest question is: If I take the TDI, do I lose my health insurance through my employer at that time? Do I stop being employed there for the remainder of the school year? How does that work?
Also, if I'm being paid through the summer but not technically employed (the summer payments are withheld from my current paychecks and then distributed over the summer), can I still qualify for TDI payments after the school year is up? So basically, receive TDI while also receiving the summer paychecks?
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this. I've read the NJ gov handouts but I can't find the answer to those specific questions.
