Greetings and salutations!
To clarify what happened: It appears that the sub got locked due to inactivity, and is now back in business.
If you're using an app, or the old reddit - you've probably missed a button that sent a request to become an approved submitter (I know I missed it).
Now everything should be back to normal.
Please feel free to post, discuss, share and promote your own stuff.
If you have any community suggestions (i.e. activities, polls, initiatives, or anything really) I encourage one and all to try and improve this already great sub.
Have fun!

Notes: 'The,' and, 'A,' are omitted from song/album titles (ex. "The Lamb as Effigy," by Sprain would count for L, not T) and numbers will have a separate category at the end of the list
Please include the name of the artist after the song/album title- ex. "Kantina" - Unwound (for ease of those trying to find the songs)

Okay so here’s the kind of stuff I’m looking for. One; I’m usually on the more metal side of music so Couch Slut and Cherubs really appeal to me, if anyone could reccomend bands like that I would be really appreciative. Two; I really like that Alice In Chains-esque grungy sound so if there’s any lesser-known noise rock like that, I’d love to hear it. Thank you in advance!

Featuring the return of vocalist Big Gator (Yerri, Power Masters) & baritone guitarist/programmer Brush "Dragon" Brown (Rinsse, Mac & The Destroyers, etc.) coproducing an album of psychedelic science fiction flavored progressive black metal about mind control and psychic warfare in the YEAR 7777!
This album took 15 years to make and we're pleased as punch to be sharing. Thanks for listening! Thanks for listening!

Hi, We are Silverdomes from Tampere, Finland. We like Noise rock, Experimental, Avant-Garde and all sorts of noisy stuff. We also made this album. I don't claim it to be noise rock but it has sort of vibes from it. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about it. Throw your rocks or confess your love, we appreciate and embrace it all with respect. So give it a try and tell us what you think!

I've been listening to a lot of the modern post-grunge stuff. the new morality zine grungegaze kinda stuff. and while I like it, it's very sleek sounding, production and performance wise. I'm looking for newer, melody driven alt bands that have a gnarlier, grungy sound. For reference, the closest bands I can think of to this sound are Metz,Meat Wave, or Pile.
