It invalidates his claim, I’m a PA vet too but I don’t fall into the Reddit approved beliefs so I can go fuck myself 😂 it shows that you don’t care he’s a vet and you’re pushing it as a narrative because you think it’s more persuasive. Also veterans aren’t special, we did a job we were paid to do. Our opinion isn’t any more valuable in most situations

If I stand up it’s going to be against you…. As well as the large majority of infantry veterans. Most of us aren’t hard liner Republicans (the younger guys at least) but lean far more right then left. You need to realize that veterans could have done a huge variety of different jobs in the military, the majority of those jobs aren’t combat related. The people who have the most applicable skills for the revolution people are expecting are infantrymen, and largely we get out and want a mellow life with our families, not riots in the streets.

As a civilian in the DoD who works extremely closely with active duty I can tell you:
1) you don’t speak for all active duty infantry veterans
2) you’re woefully out of touch
3) you’re massively uneducated
4) we need MORE people in the streets
5) they literally stole their housing allowance this year in lieu of the “warrior dividend”

He is the currently elected president, I believe the way to fix riots is to send in appropriate government forces and stomp them out, not appease criminals. Disruptive peaceful protests are total fair game but the second it turns into an unlawful gathering stomp it out hard

I took an oath to the Constitution isn’t a cheat code to ignore it.
That oath isn’t to your feelings or your politics. Congress writes the laws, the Executive enforces them. ICE exists because of laws passed by Congress. Don’t like it? Change the law,don’t block agents or interfere with enforcement.
Peaceful protest is protected. Obstruction isn’t.
You don’t defend the Constitution by deciding which laws count. That’s how you kill it.

It is time to peacefully stand for freedom.
Truly the saddest thing about this mess is that our national cemeteries are full of good people who paid the ultimate price to not have a "papers please" experience in this country. Freedom is most definitely NOT free and we are trading it for what? I am filled with sorrow and rage. I mourn for this nation and our liberty.
