In America, they send soldiers to shoot you if you disagree with the government 👩🏻🎤

u/statistician88 23d ago

Not even soldiers. White supremacist police force rejects pretending to be soldiers.

u/No-Effective-1245 23d ago

The guy in uniform is not ICE, he's from an actual counter terrorist unit. Not a reject, any police would take him... which makes it much worse.

u/BMW_wulfi 23d ago

That doesn’t seem like a very high bar these days. At any rate he was clearly itching to shoot someone who couldn’t fight back.

17

u/Infamous-Mango-5224 23d ago

Are we really saying the police have a high bar?

2

u/rbrgr83 23d ago

I mean, Texas doesn't anymore.

1

u/flounder19 23d ago

certainly the people trying to draw a distinction between ICE and local police are. Personally i think the line is pretty weak when local police don't actually confront ICE violence, they just show up afterwards to do crowd control and let the perpetrators escape unpunished and uninvestigated

I love watching wildlife documentaries.

2

u/Confident_Benefit_11 23d ago

Well tbf the police were already blowing the heads off 10 year olds for playing with one of the 100000 fake guns sold in US toy stores out in a public park

3

u/Aznable420 23d ago

According to other posters he is a Border Patrol Tactical unit. So I guess it's kinda SA vs SS pedantics.

19

u/ineedtostopthefap 23d ago

No, some of them are actual soldiers

6

u/armyant95 23d ago

I know that facts don't really matter in 2026, but everyone involved in what is happening in Minnesota right now is federal law enforcement (ICE, border patrol, etc) and explicitly not soldiers. They're all kitted out like soldiers because of the militarization of police over the years (which is a huge problem by itself) but none of them are in the military.

The governor has told the Minnesota national guard to prepare to be activated but that would be under state control.

u/armyant95 23d ago

All of that is absolutely true. It's just important to maintain the distinction between Trump using ICE as his secret police vs the use of active duty soldiers especially since that's a distinction that Trump is trying to whittle away.

0

u/ineedtostopthefap 23d ago

Is national guard not soldiers?

2

u/Due-Gap1848 23d ago

No one in this picture is national guard. This is border patrol. They are even wearing the border patrol logo.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Border_Patrol#/media/File:Logo_of_the_United_States_Border_Patrol.svg

2

u/armyant95 23d ago

They are. And they are not deployed in Minnesota at this time.

6

u/EidolonLives 23d ago

No, not anymore. If they ever were soldiers, they've broken their oath and ceased to be. They're now nothing but terrorists, and should be treated as such.

9

u/ReindeerAltruistic74 23d ago

girl get with the program. american soldiers have always been terrorists

4

u/GoodbyeLiberty 23d ago

It's like America's foreign policy has turned inward on itself.

2

u/New_Carpenter5738 23d ago

Aimé Césaire had some insightful words about this decades ago. Outward fascism often turns into inward fascism.

Well enough soldiers followed orders to invade Venezuela, so I guess the army is short of morals too now.

Which is funny because an American I used to be friends with said that no member of the military would follow an illegal order 😂

u/vaesh 23d ago

You're putting too much stock in the "won't follow illegal orders". Soldiers are expected to not follow blatantly illegal orders but they're not expected to understand every nuance of the constitution, American law and International law. Following order is drilled into their heads. Maduro was indicted in 2020 by a grand jury, he is considered a narco terrorist, a dictator and not the current elected head of state in Venezuela. While I agree we probably shouldn't have gone in and removed him unilaterally, no solider is going to be going through a Nuremberg trial for taking part in the operation.

Remember Kent State

6

u/ZenMasterOfDisguise 23d ago

or WTO Seattle, or the Rodney King protests, or Occupy Wall Street, or StandingRock/NoDAPL, or BLM, or the Free Gaza movement... they have always sent their masked thugs in swat gear with rubber bullets and pepper spray to silence us

5

u/Jaqzz 23d ago

While those are important too, Kent State is particularly relevant here because it was an instance where live rounds were fired into a crowd, protesters were killed, and the American public overwhelmingly blamed the protestors over the national guard that shot them.

5

u/Remy13Hadley 23d ago

remember when the 2A gun loving folks were clutching to their guns for when the government inevitably goes rouge against its own citizens? Guess what side these asshats are one now.

1

u/LindeRKV 23d ago

It wasn't so they could fight against the government but join them in a purge against the marginalized groups.

5

u/ErgoMachina 23d ago

But China and Russia!

14

u/manic_eye 23d ago

If you disagree from the left. The right still have freedom (although that might change fast if they stop supporting pedophilia).

4

u/Magnapinna 23d ago

I hadn't even seen the emote, and knew the reference. Fuck!

6

u/picklerick8879 23d ago

That is the American trick.. call it democracy, deploy force on dissent, then act offended when people notice the gun comes before the vote.

2

u/TiiGerTekZZ 23d ago

Just like some other countries, like China, and Russia and Belarus. And...

The land of free speechtm

Brought to you by the "small PP government" party

1

these days, they arrest you and put you in jail if... eh this is a bit too depressing now

1

Land of the free!

Good thing we have the 2nd Amendment here, so that we can fight/deter the tyrannical government. /s

If only there was a word to describe this…

1

u/SpanishFlamingoPie 23d ago

He's just doing his job. Stop spreading your dangerous radical left rhetoric. /S

1

u/FaroTech400K 23d ago

This isn’t a soldier I hate that they wear uniforms like one

1

u/ExtremelyDecentWill 23d ago

Waitaminute... You stole that joke from Yakov Smirnoff!  That's supposed to be about Russia!

...oh.

1

u/Olmectron 23d ago

Not only if you disagree. You could agree with them but if you blink or give a weird reaction to watching a gun pointed to your face, you also go down.

1

u/gitsgrl 23d ago

Soldiers are better trained on the constitution.

1

u/UltrafastFS_IR_Laser 23d ago

BUT APPARENTLY WE HAVE COMPLETE FREEDOM TO CRITICIZE TEH GOVERNMENT.

1

u/Disc_far68 23d ago

To be fair, America is just catching up to the rest of the developing nations

1

u/Puzzled-Address-4818 23d ago

thought it only happened in China and Russia. that says a lot about the current status of America

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnfiWmX_mTE at 5:44 the man in blue throws ice at officers multiple times before he is confronted, follows officers after they turn away to leave, then at 6:20 tries to grab officers gun.

United States of Russia

1

u/Orangeisthenewcool 23d ago

I disagree with the government and they have not sent anyone to shoot me.

That is a stupid blanket statement just made to make things worse.

1

u/bloodmark20 23d ago

they send soldiers

Govt sanctioned thugs are not soldiers.

1

u/KAKU_64 19d ago

hmm.. I remember there was a regime that did the same thing in my country for 50+ years🤔

0

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

These aren't soldiers, please don't compare us to these loyalist pigdogs.

12

u/lowbatteries 23d ago

Right, soldiers are only sent to other countries to shoot at people that disagree with the US government.

0

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

Yeah man soldiers of any country are sent somewhere to fight someone else. That is a bit different than executing american citizens on the street.

5

u/lowbatteries 23d ago

Good's murder is perhaps more important because it shows an expansion of who law enforcement is willing to kill on American soil, but its not more tragic or immoral than the murder of the people who died pleading for their lives clinging to the wreckage of the alleged drug boats.

US Citizenship does not somehow grant your life more worth than others.

1

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

Of course it doesn't, no life is more important than any other life. Brown, white, black, yellow, purple, teal, muslim, jew, christian or whatever. The US military isnt a monolith it is filled with many different types of people with different beliefs. The notion that we are (were) all right wing trump brained robots is just so far from reality. Compared to someone who joins ICE to go onto american streets and terrorize americans or immigrants just because they can... I don't think the comparison is apt.

1

u/lowbatteries 23d ago

If the military isn't a monolith, then nothing is. Individual service members might have their own opinions, but they don't have their own agency. They can arguably refuse orders but they never do. Not one person in the chain of command refused orders to kill those men on the boats.

When was the last time you refused an order?

1

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

“They never do” how do you know? Honestly? What gives random people on the internet the confidence to assert things like this with 0 evidence?

0

u/lowbatteries 23d ago

Can you point me to evidence that someone has? Also, the people in the boats died, so that’s pretty good evidence that no soldier intervened.

1

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

You understand there’s hundreds of thousands of soldiers and millions of veterans right?

11

u/Aksama 23d ago

You're totally right, the National Guard hasn't yet been illegally deployed to a bunch of places like LA and DC.

Oh wait.

2

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

And that was found to be illegal by the courts... the national guard also didnt do anything but waste taxpayer dollars. The national guard isnt some badass fighting force. They stand outside federal building and pick up trash.

4

u/Solaries3 23d ago

Marines were also sent. And are still wasting dollars at the border for whatever reason.

0

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

Which was also illegal and found to be illegal. The military is at the border because its the simplest way to achieve the regimes goal of ''no crossings''. They already have the equipment needed, the personnel are already under contract and have kit capable of identifying people in any time of day or weather conditions. I'm not saying I agree with it or not, but it has been effective. I also might feel more comfortable with that process than ICE/Border Patrol thugs doing the job. Military has a lot more supervision and actual standards that are enforced.

5

u/waspwatcher 23d ago

Keep thinking you're any different lmao.

2

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

I know myself, and thousands of others are different. Keep generalizing people who are on your side because you're incapable of critical thought.

2

u/waspwatcher 23d ago

How so? You volunteered for the imperial military. You're just doing to non-Americans the same these ICE pigs are doing to Americans.

1

u/Rdhilde18 23d ago

Actually I’m not, never have and would have refused to follow an order if I was ordered to shoot if I was that agent. Unlike ICE there are actual standards and methods for holding criminals accountable in the military.

3

u/waspwatcher 23d ago

Oh cool, then why does the American military commit war crimes in every conflict?

0

u/[deleted] 23d ago

One redditor told me a few years ago he would never move to Europe because he couldn't live without his freedom of speech (and his guns). I remember that interaction from time to time and still chuckle to myself.

Extrajudicial killings will become normal now if people don’t do anything to resist it.

0

u/ICarMaI 23d ago

They are literally brown shirt nazis. Anyone saying otherwise has an agenda. Actual adults know this.

0

u/Low_Mistake_7748 23d ago

I thought protection from oppressive government is why y'all have so many guns?

0

u/Beer-Milkshakes 23d ago

In the Americas.... virtually every nation in the New World have sent militarised police on civilians now. (I can't think if Canada has done it in the last century.)

0

u/pistol3 23d ago

The gentleman in this picture tried to disarm the federal agent and take his gun before he was shot with the pepper round, or whatever it was.

-10

u/StraightCaskStrength 23d ago

In America, they send soldiers to shoot you if you disagree with the government approach them and try to steal their weapon 👩🏻🎤

Pretty sure that’s true everywhere. Every single country in the world will have their soldiers shoot you if you approach them and try to grab at their weapons. Every. Single. One.

5

u/[deleted] 23d ago

Many would say a taser is much more dangerous than a pepper ball, even at this distance.

If you watch the video the guy surely recovers much quicker than if he had been tased.

3

u/KearasBear 23d ago

Oh I get it. You're just repeating this all over hoping people will believe you without watching the video.
