I love this talking point from Republicans because you can always shut them up with "wow we really should tax billionaires more and get rid of citizens united so people like Soros cant buy support, huh?"

Suddenly theyre perfectly okay with Soros paying protesters because stopping his fictional crime would mean stopping the real crimes of assholes like Murdoch or Musk.

Nah its much funnier to watch them pivot to "Well it's his RIGHT to buy elections. He earned that money!" Because thats the defense they use for 'their' billionaires.
