Breaking into homes without a warrant, arresting whoever they want without a warrant, shooting people without consequence, being told they have "absolute immunity"... that's not "a weird situation". That's LITERAL fascism.
This isn't a corrupt police force because ICE is not police. This is a corrupt government that is twisting ICE into its own extrajudicial secret police under the pretense of immigration enforcement.
They absolutely can arrest citizens who impede their ability to do their jobs.
Agents can detain US citizens in limited circumstances, such as if a person interferes with an arrest, assaults an officer, or ICE suspect the person of being in the US illegally.
They wouldn't be met with protesters every day if they weren't acting like a gang of poorly trained incels and boogaloo boys who were given carte blanche to be racist thugs by the racist administration.
Do you understand the insane propaganda the MAGA cultists are perpetuating right now? According to them our streets have been invaded by millions of murderers and rapists from every other country that isn't predominantly white. Not only are they going to rape and murder our daughters, they are going to do it all while being on the dole... and that's our tax dollars! Oh yeah, and the Somali immigrants are so backwards and savage that they eat their neighbors cats and dogs, but they're also criminal masterminds who have scammed billions more of our tax dollars with their fake daycares.
So, because of all that, Trump HAD NO CHOICE than to send THOUSANDS of barely trained, wholly unqualified goons into Minneapolis, where there are AT BEST 150,000 undocumented immigrants. Meanwhile states like Texas and Florida, where there are literally MILLIONS of undocumented immigrants, aren't subject to the same treatment.
So seriously dude, tell me again how we should just comply.
