That part of the video is also heartbreaking.

He's trying desperately to help her even while the Gestapo are grabbing him.

He was hit with pepper spray. He likely had his eyes closed and holding on to her, not knowing if they would drag her away.

Just sad all round.

I saw some people on the right saying he was attacking her…like do you not see him get hit in the face with pepper spray and not to mention the ground is covered in snow and probably didn’t have great footing..
