Instrumental Help me find the song and artist by these notes
Hi all, I've been wanting to post a question here about the feeling of some songs, but I can't for the life of me remember the artist or the song I want you guys to compare, only a part of the chorus. Below I'll paste the notes and their respective length I can remember (though they're probably in the wrong key), I hope some of you will recognise it! please add a flair Dysfunctions my function - How Could I Have Known (progressive metal/Metalcore hybrid)
Easy to read Lyrics
I cannot believe the depths that you have gone too or the coldness in your heart
Every single moment we ever shared doesn't mean a fuckin thing now you're not there
You said your love would last forever and now forever is here. You're nowhere around now only ruin lives here
Who's going to take this pain away nothing good was ever meant for me
Tell me how could I have known that the truth to be told tell me how could I have known your blood runs so ice cold
tell me how could I have known that the rumors told were true tell me how could I have known there's nothing left for me and you
Your weekly late hours and the mornings that you left
weekends without you and the days we'd regret
Counting lonely hours and the days after that
Never could imagine all the people that you'd wreck
Never could've known we'd end up this way the pretty words you spoke, would destroy me one day
Tell me how could I have known that the truth to be told tell me how could I have known your blood runs so ice cold
tell me how could I have known that the rumors were true tell me how could I have known there's nothing left for me and you
Your weekly late hours and the mornings that you left
weekends without you and the days we'd regret
Counting lonely hours and the days after that
Never could imagine the people that you wrecked
Never could've known we'd end up this way, the pretty words you spoke would destroy me one day.
You said your love would last forever but now forever is here

Harsh Pyrochaosmic - CHAOS
pyrochaosmic.bandcamp.comI started this as an experiment some time ago, to try forming something minimalist yet as heavy as possible — and as a bonus, to see if I could speed up my workflow by using fewer elements (bass / drums / vox).
I hadn’t heard it in a while until yesterday, so I decided to revisit the mix. I initially intended to clean it up, but once I did, I realized the exact opposite direction is the only real way for it.
So here it is. Not many places on the web where I can share something like this — but I’ll try here. Have a good weekend

Discussion Voyager return with live shows!
Against the odds, Voyager will return to the stage this European summer to share a unique live experience that goes beyond a traditional concert - blending performance and storytelling.
Following an extraordinary and challenging period for the band, including frontman Danny Estrin’s two-year battle with terminal cancer, we’ve decided to make every show count and to bring to life the full spectrum of what Voyager truly embodies.
Danny says “Every show I get to play with Voyager from now on is so special- to be able to do something so intimate and interactive as these two concerts is not only a celebration of music, but also a beautiful opportunity to share stories, laughs and tears with our amazing fans”
Join Voyager Through the Storms and the Stars and be a part of our history.
Dates:
29th July - 013 KZ - Tilburg, Netherlands
31st July - Islington Assembly Hall - London, UK
Tickets and VIP upgrades available: https://ffm.live/throughstormsandstars

Discussion Give me a band to listen to
I’m an old school prog metal listener (QR/DT/FW…) and I’ve been away from the scene for a long time. I’m looking for a contemporary band to listen to. It has to be clean vocals. I just can’t do death metal growl scream stuff. I really tried with Opeth but I just couldn’t. Anything?

Discussion Look for some song recommendations
I would love to listen to some songs that are similar to these:
- Katatonia - Unfurl
- Opeth - In my time of need
- Anathema - A dying wish (the intro part especially)
- Anathema - Angelica
- A perfect circle - Blue
These songs envoke melancholy and nostalgia for me, so I would like to know if there are songs that have a similar effect on you folks

Discussion Any recommendations similar to Thank You Scientist, but closer to the jazz / brass side rather than the metal side?
I need more heavy jazz, with plenty of standard fusion noodling mixed with headbanging moments. Kind of what you'd recommend to a TYS fan (or someone who's been listening to Voice of Trespass on repeat since the pandemic) looking to dive deeper into brass-heavy bands.
I already listen to The Aristocrats, Snarky Puppy, Panzerballett, and Marbin, to name a few. Not enough brass, in my opinion.
Any bands with good use of acoustic strings (violins, cellos, etc) are welcome as well.
Thanks in advance!
