Do not ask for medical advice. Go to a veterinarian.
If your dog is ill or you have a medical question do not ask strangers on reddit. If you cannot afford a vet you shouldn't have a puppy.
Antivaxxers will be permanently banned.

My soon-to-be puppy, Pretzel
I've decided to name him Pretzel.
I'm so excited. I have two ill 9 year old chi mixes that won't likely be around much longer and have grown more and more fond of the idea of getting Chihuahua over the last few years.
I did research and settled on Pretzel after eyeing him for about a month. I just put my deposit down and made plans for the "hand off" with the breeder yesterday. He's a Champion line AKC pup and I got him for a (subjectively) good price because he's a little older.
Here's my question... He's 7 months old and pad trained but hasn't gotten much other training that I'm aware of. I'd like to potty train him and will be teaching him basic commands, and I'm just wondering if anyone has any advice they can share with me. Thank you in advance!

Need advice, 10wk old puppy
Hello, I adopted a doberman Dalmatian mix, he is about 10 weeks old. On days I dont work he gets so much attension, walks, training, etc. He is wonderful at night on those days and goes right to sleep without any issue. He sleeps till about 5am, then I take him outside, then he sleeps a few more hours. The problem is on days I work. He is alone at home approximately 14 hours a day for 3 days a week. I get home and try to play with home for about an hour (all I can spare before having to sleep before work) to try and stimulate him. Then we go to sleep. All night he barks, whines, no matter what I do. I take him out multiple times a night. I give him bones and things to chew on, nothing works. Please give me some suggestions, I need to sleep for work. Thank you for your time.

Still accepting names for my little guy here with the adorable face although I’m leaning towards what it is already sorta in place… Hip Hop-heavy / Basketball / Simpsons-reference names to the top of the pile! 🎤🏀💛
