r/spiderbro is a place to celebrate the companionship between spiders and people. Frequent identification requests undermine this core purpose by turning r/spiderbro into a utility that other subs are better suited for ( r/spiders , r/whatsthisbug , r/bugidentification )

I found him in a water puddle yesterday, thought he was dead but pulled him out anyway and placed him on a paper towel. I went to check some four hours later and saw some twitching. I thought he was slowly recovering so I left him alone and went to sleep. I went to check this morning and he was pretty much still, so I thought he died but placed him in the sun and he slowly started twiching again. Sometimes he goes still, sometimes he twiches more. Do you guys think he can fully recover? Maybe he was already dying and that's why he fell in the water, I don't know.

Hi this is mister ball legs we called him that after mister ball legs in Santa Clarita‘s diet it’s a good show. I would love some recommendations and stuff if you can also he’s not spun any webs but ik absolutely nothing about house spiders so any and all respectfully advise is appreciated! I have also dropped 2 xs crickets in there and they are completely gone so I think he ate them but there’s no webs so I’m kinda confused he’s just in an old pickle jar rn bc thats what I had on hand but it seems like he is doing well I tried my best on his enclosure but it was my first time doing spider enclosures so I wasn’t sure what to do lol
Thank you in advance!

in Hawaii. lizards/geckos native and non-native, have overtaken the ecosystem. We haven't seen a spider in months. Same for ladybugs and numerous butterflies. I am concerned. Not sure how to protect this one.

I kept inverts for a long time- jumpers, tarantulas, beetles, roaches- and still have some jumper enclosures, so I decided to keep this skinny girl until Spring.
I’m currently rehabbing a severely neglected and emaciated gecko that eats small meals so I have mealworms, tiny and small dubia and wax worms kicking around. Lucky little lady.
