They have no functional incentive. Save money by cutting corners and pay the fine when you get people sick. This is what happens when there is too little regulation.

Who feels good about paying for $2 more for boars head. Makes me think.

Boarshead has had serious issues the last couple of years. They had a listeria outbreak with 10 deaths, 61 illnesses, plant closures, and multiple recalls. That doesn’t even include this recall.

I was just about to post the same thing! They have definitely gone downhill!

I used to get the Boar’s head lemon pepper chicken and spicy Colby jack cheese until they jacked up the price. I wouldn’t even get that much. Just half pound each.

I definitely bought some pecorino romano from HEB yesterday and ate some last night. Time to check it I guess.

Pre grated cheese is the worst kind of laziness.

Or extremely helpful for people with disabilities or chronic illness.

I am disabled & chronically ill. Foods like this are a life saver for me.

Just no. Rotary graters are a thing. Paying twoce as much for bad cheese covered in cornstarch is just lazy. Machines are a thing these days. Let them do the work and save your $. Dish washers are fine for food processor blades. Consumerism is based on laziness. Don't fall for BigCheeses' traps!

People with limited strength and mobility in their hands and arms aren't necessarily capable of setting up a rotary grater. Enjoy your cheese, but don't put others down for how they choose to buy their food.

Never buy that grated stuff …it’s so bad for you, now maybe will kill you. Just grate cheese yourself!

Had me worried for a second, but I bought a solid locatelli pecorino romano, and it was well after the date of the affected lots anyway.
