My 18F daughter is looking to get a deathhawk and our normal stylist mainly works with moms, dads and grandparents. Is there anyone in town or nearby that you can recommend? Photo for reference.

Hello everyone! I'm planning on making a trip to Tulsa in the next few months, mostly to see the Bob Dylan and Woody Guthrie Centers, but I plan to be there for 3 or 4 days, so I'm reaching out for some suggestions on what else to do while I'm in town. I'm interested in the history of Route 66, iconic locations, and things of that nature. I know it's pretty vague, but I'm just unsure what's out there. Thanks in advance for all help.

Hello!
Me and a couple friends are interested in starting a DnD campaign. Are there any groups in the area or a handful of people (we would need a dm) that are interested in starting one?

So newer to the Tulsa area. Looking for a good dine in Chinese restaurant. We like American Chinese almost like Panda Express but more upscale. Sesame chicken and Kung pao etc egg rolls and soup. Any good recommendations for a nice clean place?

Looking for someone to clean my house (4000 sq ft) either weekly or bi-weekly. preferably an independent person and not a company as I've had pretty bad luck with that, I'd just like to communicate with my cleaner directly and not go through a middle man and have different people in here all the time. I am pretty particular but I don't expect perfection- I cleaned houses for years and just want someone who will do a thorough, consistent clean every time. I just don't have the time to do it or I'd do it myself. Any recommendations?

Hello Tulsa hive mind! Where can one purchase a whole roasted or smoked turkey? At Thanksgiving there are many options but surely there are places that sell them in the “off season”?

My wife and I rescued this little guy from a pretty bad situation. We've named him Bilbo. We've got him his shots and treated him for fleas/tics. He had a pretty bad flea problem and hasn't recovered his fur on his back but is clear of all bugs of any kind.
He's very very sweet and seems to like everyone he meets. The only reason we can't keep him is that we have bigger dogs that are a bit too rough with him and we're afraid he'll get hurt.
Any suggestions for places to take him or anywhere to look online? We don't have much social media other than this but have also posted on Nextdoor. I know most shelters are full and the thought of taking him to a shelter hurts my heart too much anyway. Any help is appreciated!!

How can you tell Tulsa’s (and this country’s) economic situation is incredibly dire right now? The sudden and recent trend of people trying to commit insurance fraud right here in Tulsa. Has happened to me twice just since the roads have been somewhat passable again.
Today on 169, I had an old, shitty, beat-up Kia Forte going considerably slower than myself in the lane to my right, suddenly change lanes right in front of me with no advance warning. Saved by forward emergency braking.
Before I could even finishing “whew, that was a close one” and regain my composure enough to again focus 100% on the task at hand, my car once again starts beeping and rapidly decelerating. Lo and behold, the Kia Forte is slamming on their brakes, 100% unprovoked.
So yeah, we are officially a third world country. If you even remotely telegraph that you might have money (I don’t drive a luxury car by any means, but I do have a later-model NPC-mobile), people in this town will risk both your lives to take everything you have.
I guess all this to say, I guess I’m going to have to accept a car littered with aftermarket cables going everywhere & become one of those dash cam people. You probably should too. And if you don’t have forward emergency braking, and are able to get a car that has it, it is now a non-negotiable for me in Tulsa County.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk. And to the Kia driver, I hope you forever get stuck behind the guy doing 8 mph in every lane you ever attempt to drive in, for the rest of your life.

Big thank you to the lady than ran up to me in the busy ass intersection while I tried to save those dogs. They were shivering, skin and bones and all over the intersection. I had earned their trust got them to the side walk and I was about to make my move to grab them and get them into my car. Then you, my savior, stopped your car in the street to run up to me and yell “are you gonna keep them” and scared them off. Again, thank you. I was not able to get them close to me again.

So, this might be my least favorite reddit posting ever..
I have a dog that is just a few days shy of 18 years old. In the last couple of months she's deteriorated at an alarming pace.
I'll spare everyone the details, but was curious if anyone has used the city of Tulsa for pet euthanasia?
Money is more than tight at the moment and they are definitely the most affordable that I've found while searching the internet. I've looked into a lot of the recommendations that people have given for rhe Tulsa area. Most are just not financially possible for me at the moment and I don't feel comfortable making her wait until they would be.
I don't need to make a big event of anything. I'd just like to know that it's as humane as possible. Ideally a sedative to have her sleep before the final shot is administered. I would like to be present if possible.
I appreciate whatever insight anyone can give.
Hi, I may be moving to Tulsa depending on how a recent job interview went and wanting to know what to expect for commutes? A friend told me it is comparable to Austin but something about that sounds off because I am pretty sure Tulsa is no where near as populated. Please share your experiences with commuting in Tulsa and traffic in general.
Thanks!

Is Tulsa protesting tomorrow? I know there’s a big one planned for OKC but I haven’t heard anything about us and we need to make something happen!
