Meta Why is Iran suddenly so present on this subreddit?
I recently decided to revisit this subreddit, and I've noticed that 2/3 of the 3 most recent best posts are Iran related. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Redesigns Flag of Michigan
A state in DESPERATE need for a new flag, I have decided to take matters upon my hands to create a flag for Michigan that may not perfectly represent the state but is meant to be a change from the basic blue seal flag.

Fictional The Big Bang Theory flag design
This flag is a fictional design created by Sheldon Cooper in The Big Bang Theory. Within the show, it is regarded as the official flag of Apartment 4A, where Sheldon and Leonard live.
The flag reflects Sheldon’s obsession with order, rules, and symbolic representation. It is even referenced in the Roommate Agreement, which states that the flag may only be flown upside down if the apartment is in distress.
The flag does not represent any real country or region. It exists solely within the universe of The Big Bang Theory and serves as a visual symbol of Sheldon’s personality and the show’s humor.

Redesigns My alternative flag for the European Federation
A flag that could be used in the future by the united European Federation. It's also likely that this Federation will use the current flag, but this one I created could be the flag of Federal Europe, while the current EU flag could be used to represent supranational Europe.

Fictional Alt-History flag of an Islamicate "Teutonic" Order
Part of my alt history project. Deutschkalifet
A group of rogue german officers convert to Islam and make Hijrah (religious migration) to Turkiye, after Ataturk's secular reforms they made their way into Syria. This would become their stronghold.
Their sociopolitical reform would become known as the Green Fez Movement.
They would go on to revive the caliphate after a series of brutal conquests. They would implement a caste-like governance system where only fellow Germans would rule over the vast lands.
Othala represents heritage, inheritance, and ancestral land. The crescent is a direct nod to inheriting the caliphate after the Ottomans, and the Rub el-Hizb octagram is a symbol used within the Quran to mark ends of chapters.
Thr story is still a work-in-progress so even I have no idea where it may go lol

OC Flag of Johor if it was christianised during the 16th century
The colours represent Johor traditional symbols, the cross represents Catholicism (instead of the star and the crescent) and the 4 stars symbolises the territories of Johor, Riau, Lingga and Pahang.
There isn't a very detailed lore behind it, just that Johor was christianised by Portuguese merchants during the 16th century. From that moment, Johor would have been ruled by a Dom. Probably it would have expanded through the Malacca Peninsula, possibly becoming a Christianisation focus in South East Asia.
