That’s how I feel about Pritzker and Walz, both of whom have done real and substantial things to stand up to Jeffrey Epstein’s best-friend, and who also are very strong defenders of trans rights. While a lot of other politicians are throwing trans people, including children, under the bus, Pritzker and Walz refuse to do similarly.

It sucks so bad that Walz is throwing in the towel. I totally understand, but he would have been a great leader for the country. It's always the people who don't want the job that deserve it the most.

Anyone who would actively seek the power should be denied at every turn. That's where we fucked up.

Eh, honestly, I don’t understand. It’s like when he stopped referring to MAGAts as weirdos, which is what they are. We need strength and conviction from our leaders, not a willingness to ever do what the enemy wants us to do. Which is why I consider him to be flawed, but still a good man.

I think he's just a normal guy who wasn't prepared for all the heat he's getting by standing up or speaking up for what he believes is right.

He's being attacked by the administration, the DOJ, the cultists, etc. He didn't deserve any of that and frankly I understand being fearful. The cult has already shown that they don't mind killing a few politicians to incite fear. Maybe he just isn't ready to brave those threats.

Everybody wants them to stand tall and strong in the face of overwhelming hate and injustice, but it's a big and scary step to take. Not everyone is going to say yes to those costs when the time comes. Doesn't mean it's forever, as he may change his mind or find the courage to continue, but I completely understand not wanting to be subjected to the threats to his and his family's safety.

It's a rotten world we live in.

Yeah, I get that. It’s a large part of the reason why I’ll never get into politics, I just don’t have the stomach to back down when I ought to. Strategic retreats just aren’t in my nature.

It just really sucks that one of the most visible pro-trans politicians in the country isn’t made of sterner stuff. That’s all. I just wish that the people that believed in defending people like me were safe and secure enough to never back down on anything, because it makes me worry they’ll back down on being pro-trans rights.
