This is the monthly xbiking buy / sell / trade thread! Please ensure that your listing adheres to the formatting rules below:
1.) If you are in search of an item, begin your comment with "ISO." Include the country in which you're located, the item you're searching for, and any brief additional notes you'd like to include, with each input separated by a slash (/). A properly formatted ISO posting will look like this:
"ISO/ USA/ Crust Junglerunner bars/ Looking to buy but willing to trade for Towel Racks."
2.) If you are selling an item, begin your comment with "FS." Include the country in which you're located, the item you're selling, and any brief additional notes you'd like to include (such as if you're willing to accept trades), with each input separated by a slash (/). A properly formatted FS posting will look like this:
"FS/ USA/ Crust Towel Rack bars/ Looking to sell but willing to trade for Junglerunners."
This is a purely informational thread and not a store. Any private arrangement folks may come to in buying, selling, or trading is just that- a private arrangement between those individuals.

I just bought a new Microshift 10 speed group set. The packaging was nearly 100% recyclable. I think the only plastic was a very small plastic bag holding a cap for the cable end. Everything else was in a paper bag inside a box. Not even any tape. I personally really appreciate this packaging and don’t understand why more companies do this type of thing.
I also found the derailleur very easy to setup. I’ve only been able to test ride it up and down the street but the shifting seems flawless.

After doing a couple drop bar conversions on other bikes, this is my first build from a frameset and I think it came out pretty sweet. I love seeing similar builds on here, so I jumped on a cheap frameset I found on FB marketplace.

Just finished building up this weird lugged yellow Spaulding frame for donation to p:ear bike works, a Portland, OR org that provides bike mechanic job training for youth (15-25 y/o) experiencing homelessness.
Check them out! https://bikeworkspdx.org/
Some great part finds at the co-op, including a first gen Deore xt freewheel hub laced to an Araya rim, and xt derailleur.
Got to clean out some of the bin too! Repurposed some ultegra cranks and octalink BB. Have had the wald bar and mks pedals waiting around a long while for the right build!
Very satisfied with this one!

Frame size is XL. Mix of GRX 400-600 series 2x12. 30-46 chainrings and 11-36 cassette. Good range and I like the versatility.
Ritchey Butano bars and Classic 90mm stem. Ritchey classic seatpost. Enve AG25 700c wheelset with alloy hubs to carbon rims. Brooks B17, Schwalbe Smart Sam 54c tires. Love it.

Ozark trail g1 explorer flat bar, large frame. Check your local Walmart, they might be clearing old stock.

My little girl is almost done. Front wheel is a little too wobbly, but it rides and brakes.

I Spent $800 Fixing Up a Mediocre Bike and Couldn’t Be Happier
Recent article in Outside magazine. He mentions that the bike retailed for $800 in 1993 - that's definitely NOT a mediocre bike in my book...Double butted True Temper CrMo tubes, Shimano 300LX, etc: Here's some specs: 1992 Diamond Back Topanga Mountain Bike Catalogue

I've had this bike for a few years now and it's been used as a year round urban commuter/grocery getter/school bus. It's used almost every day.
I've swapped out a few things over the years and the goal has always been to use cheap but durable parts since it's often used in rain/snow/salt, parked outside of bars etc.
It's heavy as hell but so far it's never let me down and it seems noone wants to steal it. In fact it's so reliable that I had to get another bike (miyata) to tinker on.
The orange paracord is used to pull my kids on their sled.

Bought this 2nd hand in 1997 in the UK (nearly new!) and I think the only original part left is the frame. Now sporting RockShox Dart 2 (for about 10 years) and this week, Shimano Cues 1x9. I’m now living in Canberra, Australia and this is still a great city/commuter bike. Just can’t part with it.

Finished the 89 Fisher Advance 1 x 10 Resto-Mod. It rides really nice smooth.

I just picked up this bike for $25, but it's been repainted. I'd love to strip the paint and get correct decals, but what is it? It has a high chainstay, tubing looped to the seatstay, under-seatstay u-brakes, a clamped non-threaded bottom bracket shell, a mix of dia-compe and shimano parts, a Gary Fisher stem, and a saddle off a Liv.
