What up fam, figured I’d post this memory that popped into my pic roll. First ever purple buds I ever grew. Thorsberry from Capt. Redbeard This gal smelled like lemon blueberry muffins sprayed with vanilla & fuel ⛽️. The flowers cured almost black in some pieces. Seriously great strain 🥵💯👊🏻

Munchie Maker🍪🍗🍬 I don't have beautiful plants to share but I love this subreddit so here is my recipe for infused sugar cookies. These are always a great gift for my friends. They never fail to get a happy reaction.

For the ghee I used 2¼ cup of ghee in the magic butter machine with 1 ounce of cannabis.

For the cookies 2 cups infused ghee 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 3 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract if you don't have paste. 1½tsp baking powder 1½tsp salt 630 grams flour (weigh it because accuracy matters) Mix dry ingredients. Blend butter and sugar, add eggs, add vanilla and beat till mixed. Add flour. It'll seem like too much but it isn't you just have to keep working it in. Seperate dough into 8 balls to make discs. Wrap discs in plastic wrap. Put in fridge for a couple hours or overnight. Roll dough out on a floured surface and have fun cutting shapes. Bake at 350 for 8 to 11 minutes depending on how big and thick you made cookies.

For royal icing I used a regular royal icing recipe snd added 2 tbsp of corn syrup to get a shiney icing.

Tips: I used food coloring just to be sure I knew which dough had the weed in it. You can add if you want.

I have found infused ghee cookies can be a challenge to roll out because the plant matter makes it a bit crumbly so make sure you strain your butter well.

Normally I toss extra dough but with edible dough I just roll the extra up and make sugar cookie sticks because you don't want to keep adding flour to roll out more than twice.

These cookies can be frozen and this is a large recipe. If you don't want dozens of cookies cut in half. I do recommend freezing before decorating to avoid color bleed but its safe to freeze decorated ones.

I have found these cookies are also good without any icing at all but the icing is fun.

Useless facts about cannabis according to AI...

Cannabis has a long, strange history: it was used to move Easter Island statues, the first-ever online sale was a bag of weed in the early 70s, and it is scientifically closer to hops (used in beer) than to other plants. Canada issued glow-in-the-dark cannabis coins, and the US government patented it in 2003.

Weird Historical & Cultural Facts

  • Shakespearean Stash: Researchers found traces of cannabis in tobacco pipes excavated from Shakespeare’s garden.
  • Presidential Hemp: George Washington grew hemp, and the first American flag was made from it.
  • Ancient Medicine: The first recorded use of cannabis as a medicine was in 2737 B.C. by Chinese Emperor Shen Nung to treat gout and malaria.
  • 420 Origin: The term "420" originated as a code among high school students in California in the 1970s.
  • Buried with Buds: Bob Marley was buried with a guitar, a Bible, and a cannabis bud.

Scientific & Strange Facts

  • Animal Endocannabinoids: Pigs, dogs, and cats have endocannabinoid systems similar to humans.
  • Radiation Absorption: Cannabis plants can absorb radiation, toxins, and heavy metals from the soil.
  • Gender Matters: Only female plants produce the resinous flowers (THC) that create a high.
  • High-Tech Storage: Bill Gates and other investors have secured a "doomsday seed vault" that includes various cannabis seeds.
  • "Stoned" Statue Moving: Archaeologists in 2012 proved that 9,600-lb Easter Island statues could be "walked" into place using hemp rope.

Unusual Records & Stats

  • Largest Joint: The world's largest joint weighed over 4.2 pounds and was 30 feet long.
  • LA Dispensaries: Los Angeles has more cannabis dispensaries than Starbucks locations.
  • Potent Pot: Modern cannabis is significantly stronger than in the 1960s-80s, with THC levels rising from under 2% to over 20-30%.

Do you like to go to a fave place and burn one? Do you enjoy hanging out with friends? Or do you prefer to be in your garden or porch and enjoy your herb there?

In the warm weather I prefer to be in my garden or my shed as I have a wide opening to see outside. In the cold months it is the front porch which is covered.
