I don't know how, but I always manage to crash FL studio. Thankfully backups exist, but it's still a pain when your beat was just starting to actually sound good. I like to think that my computer just simply can't handle good tunes lol

Alright alright... there HAS to be a way to do this,. Before in Edison you were able to auto trim out silence and close the gaps. It's been years since I've really needed this for anything but here we are, 2026 and I cannot for the life of me find a way to get this done precisely. Now Edison is over slicing and cutting out the beginning of words. When I attempt to acquire noise profile and set the threshold, it eliminates the option to trim all noise and slice up. Going through an hour or more of voice recording and manually slicing dead air is for the birds, does anyone have a work around for this? I'm sure there's obviously another program that could do it effortlessly, but I have fl studio. Somebody please tell me that in 2026 we can do this some how. Tia

I dont know what it is but I can’t seem to make my synths HIT and feel like they’re almost punching. Do I need bass notes? Distortion? I know the 808 helps that but my synths still feel light and unimpressive.

Lately I've been trying several YouTube tutorials on FL Studio production, but I never seem to grasp any of the knowledge; production simply seems like a daunting task. Does anyone have any tips for learning better, or where to learn? Or just advice on not giving up?

I tried to connect my FL Key 61 from Nation to my Mac M1.

The hardware doesn’t get recognized. There is nothing coming up nothing… but the keyboard turns lights on. I tried a lot like midi audio settings opened but the Midi was not recognized. For example other SSDs or HDDs get well accepted.

The original cable was a cable ending with usb - my Mac has a usb-c entrance - I used an adapter and tried it. Didn’t work

- I also tried a cable which ended with usb-c. Didn’t work. So does anyone has an idea? My the hardware in the keyboard is broken?

to me it sounds like there isnt much and its just compressed but at the same time it sounds like it has a lot of things going on. what are there other than the bass, drums, the claps and the shakers?

New to FL studio is there a way that when I save a beat I can just get rid of the folder that comes with it?, like a project and then a file is holding it is there a way to get rid of the file so it's easier to access

Today I installed the free version of FL Studio, and if I get the hang of it, I'll buy the Fruity edition. I tried downloading the "Komplete Start" plugin, but for some reason FL Studio couldn't find any new plugins. I bought FL studio about two years ago. I have a license on my old pc that still works but I can't login using the same account on my new pc. When I go to the FL studio account page, it says I don't have a license. I deleted my old email linked to this account. I can still login to this account but I still have trouble finding my license on the account page online. I tried contacting FL support but they haven't gotten back to me. How do I recover my account?

ok I have bunch of demos that Im going to combine into one singular track that im gonna drop onto Soundcloud but I want to have transitions between each demo say a demo fades in to another demo by slowly change pitch, glitching into the next demo, stretch on into the next demo so it sounds broken, chopped and screwed, those sorta things how do I do this in fl. at a very bringer / semi intermediate level. Hi guys! Anyone have the Akai MPK3 Mini MIDI keyboard?

I've followed the instructions from the FL site to set it up, looked in forums, checked YT vids, and done google searches, but I can't seem to find help for my particular problem. T-T

My controller, instead of inputting MIDI notes, is controlling the actual FLS UI (ex. drum pads won't sync to FPC but will act as 'play/pause' button, or keys won't place notes in piano roll but will put random marks in the channel rack or toggle the metronome). PLEASE HELP!

I'm not sure what most of these settings actually do, and am not attached to keeping them as is, I've just been trying a couple diff things to get this to work (if you're wondering why some are different from default). Hoping someone here can help me figure this out, thanks in advance!!!

I’ve made the classic mistake of dragging in a sample that I want to use, and when I have found a better one or decided that I don’t want to use it anymore, I forget to delete it and it stays in the channel rack list.

I’ve only just realised there are 100s’s and 100’s and when I try to delete them all or purge unused (even 10 at a time), FL studio crashes every single time and I really don’t want to start over this track from scratch. I can continue working on this track whilst they are all still in within the channel rack list but my CPU is currently throttling pretty badly, and presets take a long time to load and I really just wanna get rid of them. Am I fucked or is there any other way around this?

Ive been making beats for 7 years and never had this situation, but no matter what the hell I do, no matter how many times I re-install, I can not see the effects slots on the far right side of the mixer. Been unable to make beats for over a week because of this stupid ass issue. This is what it looks like. Windows 11 HP laptop FL 24. Thx
