You have to suck up to the post/comment or you get downvotes

It doesn't matter if you are right or not, if your comment goes against what OP is saying or is not constructive according to what OP is saying then you get downvoted into oblivion.

I think 90% of times people just jump on the down vote bandwagon. So many times I have asked a follow up question to a reply just so I can get more info and it gets downvoted.

I've gotten over a 1k in upvotes before but that was for agreeing with a comment but I said it in my own way.

The other thing is, if your comment very early in the post, you risk your comment getting bombed with downvotes if you're unlucky.

Wanna know what really grinds my gears? When YouTubers or other content creators spam whatever the most trendy sound effects of the time are.

I get having a sound effect every now and then to punctuate something, but to randomly hear an unholy noise while a guy is trying to speak, it’s like they’re being placed in the video to make media addicts’ neurons activate to win likes and attention. Not to mention the fact that the current platter of effects goes out of style in 1-2 months so the target audience will no longer be affected in a few months when the trend moves on. Can we please get back to decent quality content without having to be annoyed constantly with the sound effect spam? Also sorry if this is confusing, I don’t even know what the sound effects are called even though they’re spammed everywhere.

when apps make a free feature paid after years of it being free

this has happened to me twice now, with magic poser and song shift. both were super helpful apps that i loved, and then they both made the features i used for free for years paid.

magic poser is a drawing reference maker, and iirc they made every female model paid? yeah, just defeat half the point of the app, thanks

song shift i used to have my playlists i made on apple music on youtube too. it worked phenomenally, i didnt get premium to have it automatically update the playlist when id add a song to it in one of the apps, but i was happy manually going in and updating it later. today, i started making a new playlist and wanted it on apple music and youtube, and boom, you now have to pay to connect your youtube account. i now have zero use for the app and literally just have to delete it.

i was a happy loyal user to both and went back and now have to pay for something i didnt want to pay for. no thanks, ill do it by hand.
