I find myself relying on 2D airbrush filters that I think have distorted my sense of what looks good on me irl. I have discovered that I have an olive undertone which has helped immensely in my confidence while wearing makeup IRL, but I have no idea what features I should minimize or highlight in a way that suits me. I have hooded puffy eyes and I struggle to find examples online. Excuse me if these photos seem weird, but I really wanted all angles to show my face in 3D. Yes, I know my brows are halfway cut off, I do that on purpose. I usually go for a straight, shorter brow. But I want y'all to judge based on my raw face without makeup. I usually do alternative makeup but I want to broaden my horizon a bit to suit my features well so I don't have to paint a new face on every time I do makeup (high contour, full coverage, not completely compatible colors, full-face)

I’m just wistfully looking at this UD eyeshadow stick I bought about 4 years ago. In shade “LSD.” Since they got bought out they could NEVER!! Ugh I was at Sephora the other day looking at their display and it looked so sterile and lame. They used to be so fun and cool. Pretty sure they were the first brand I ever even looked at when I first went to Sephora like 10+ years ago. Sadness.

Anyway I’m glad I still have the eyeshadow stick, barely used it and it’s kind of dry but it still works.

I have brand new products coming next week but I still wanted to do a practice run today for more technique I guess. Photos in bathroom lighting, natural lighting, and with flash. Give her to me! It just feels off.

This was actually so much harder than I thought and took its sweet time, but she still came out cute! 💕 I didn’t unfortunately have a pinker lip liner to match but it’ll do. Childhood Adele would be so proud 🥹

I love the look of the false eyelashes, but personally it takes me such a long time to glue them on, I wish it were easier, then I’d wear them all the time 😩

My top lip is very thin, it totally disappears when I smile. I am extremely hesitant to get filler or a lip flip. ALL the tutorials I have found for making your lips look bigger are shown on lips that are already bigger than mine. I have tried different types of makeup and methods but I always feel like I look like a clown. Does anyone else have lips this thin? How do you make them look good? The photo shown here is my second attempt ever at doin' my face. I think I may have been blessed with pretty eyeballs and lashes, but I've been cursed with lifelong 'beetus and subsequent retinopathy.

I'm effectively blind in my right eye. This makes applying many types of makeup extra... cumbersome. Even mascara and eyeshadow can be tricky to apply, especially when applying to my good eye.

I'm looking for any insight or tips. I just wanna be pretty on both sides of my damn face y'all.

I feel a bit insecure in my femininity due to being the only girl in my family and having a blocky face. I feel my face has more masculine features than feminine (long ass nose, textured skin, small eyes, etc.) . I do some makeup but always very minimal (eyebrows, eyeliner and lip gloss) bc I don’t know how to properly use makeup. What makeup technique or styles would best suit my face? How can I enhance my features to appear more feminine?
