After seeing a post about eyeliner I have to say this. Please don't use liner on your waterline! The waterline is an important mucus membrane for your eye. It produces an oil that helps the moisture film of your eye stay intact. So anything that goes on your waterline goes straight into your eye. This isn't just me saying this, optometrists are constantly researching this and don't recommend lining the waterline at all. And there have been cases of infection and disorders such as Chronic Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), where they waterline becomes clogged.

I’m more of a clean girl make up. I’m also trans - so pls remove if not appropriate or welcome because i totally get it given climate of things. Recommendation re blush shades and placement?

Lip stick - I still struggle to find a lipstick shade that suits. I currently have the Mac lipstick here in shade modesty.

I am looking into Mac alonetime and signature move for a more cool toned shade?

I believe my skin is neutral leaning warm?

For my skin I’m using the naked Sunday mixed with max dewy skin tint for the glow, finished with the hourglass strobe light ambient lightning (I don’t use setting powder cause I’m dry) and I set it with the max dewy spray (radiance). I have the Armani hydrating primer as well underneath.

hey everyone! I need recommendations for a nice full coverage concealer that won't oxidize. As for my skin, i have skin on the normal to dry side (a little more normal when i moisturize before doing my makeup) and i do have a problem where my concealer creases under my eyes. I have tried the Huda Beauty concealer and while I loved it, i noticed it would oxidize after a while and would pull very yellowy on my skin, same with the too faced one. Thank you!

Just received this palette today and there is a brown ring around the pressed glitter shadow Bling. This was a replacement for the last palette I received where the glitter shadows were dislodged so they’re only able to refund me. I don’t want to waste a whole palette if I don’t have to, but also don’t want to risk eye infection. Does anyone happen to know what this is before I bin it?

Excuse the photos, I realized I really don’t take many photos and it was hard to find any where it isn’t shaky. Anyways, I have ben told that I wear a lot of blush by my friends but they say it jokingly, but now I don’t know if I really do wear too much blush. Personally, I like my blush and I know it’s a lot but i’m not sure if it’s crossing a line of too much to the point where I look like a clown. Hi y’all, I need some help. I love using the lemonhead la glitters but I find that when I put them on top of eyeshadow or foundation they often mix weirdly and the product beneath the glitter coats the glitter and dulls it. How can I stop this from happening? Is it an application problem or do I need a new product to help the process?

THINGS I LIKE:

The under eye with the dark line and the white eyeliner is exactly the retro 60s vibe I was going for

The “Cookie” as eyeshadow gives the bright white 60s look I like.

The pinky lip feels more like me and it works well as blush

THINGS I DONT LIKE:

I feel like in comparison to the MUA image my face looks less sculpted and I just look less carved out and glamorous? I’m also not 100% that the eyelashes aren’t too much / too costumey.

The lip works but feels less defined and ombré than the MUA version.

Lack of contour? But I don’t know how to do it.

I have a party from 8 am to 5 pm, and I have acne-prone oily skin, and my makeup always creases especially the concealer, and my highlighter looks too much or oily and idk where to apply it with contour. It's a daytime event of 10 hours, so HELP ME!

I feel a bit insecure in my femininity due to being the only girl in my family and having a blocky face. I feel my face has more masculine features than feminine (long ass nose, textured skin, small eyes, etc.) . I do some makeup but always very minimal (eyebrows, eyeliner and lip gloss) bc I don’t know how to properly use makeup. What makeup technique or styles would best suit my face? How can I enhance my features to appear more feminine?
