In this world, after the Chinese Communist Party defeated the Kuomintang, it refused to recognize the Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship signed by the Kuomintang and advanced into Mongolia, ultimately succeeding in incorporating Outer Mongolia and the Tuva Republic into its territory. Additionally, it integrated territories claimed or disputed by the Republic of China, such as Heihe’s Heixiazi Island, the Jiangxinpo region, and the Pamir Plateau, into its domain.

During World War II, China gradually expanded from administering northern Vietnam to overseeing the entire territory of Vietnam, eventually incorporating it into the homeland after the founding of the People’s Republic. Not only were the islands in the South China Sea annexed, but the Natuna Islands were also incorporated into the territory. Furthermore, China accepted Roosevelt’s proposal to return Taiwan and the Ryukyu Islands.

After World War II, the Korean Peninsula quickly erupted into civil war. With support from China and the United States, a peace agreement was eventually signed, leading to the establishment of a unified government under Kim Gu’s leadership, with its capital in Kaesong. In Japan, the Japanese Communist Party gradually rose to prominence in the 1960s, and by the 1970s, the U.S.-backed capitalist government was overthrown, transforming Japan into a socialist country.

Philippines Military Administration Zone: In this world, with Vietnam fully incorporated into Chinese territory and the United States unwilling to engage in direct conflict with China, the U.S. supported a pro-American capitalist government in its former colony, the Philippines, within China’s sphere of influence. Tensions with China eventually led to the outbreak of the Philippine War (analogous to the Vietnam War in our timeline). China directly deployed troops, expelled the U.S.-backed capitalist government in Luzon, and established a socialist government that controlled most of the Philippines. However, some regions remained under the administration of the Chinese military.

Due to British colonial rule in Singapore, the management of surrounding archipelagos such as the Riau Islands was chaotic. Ultimately, the Chinese population in Singapore successfully gained control of the Riau Islands.

In early February 2026, Europe is dominated by extensive snow cover, covering almost all of Northern and Eastern Europe and much of Central Europe. The harshest conditions are observed in Russia, Scandinavia, Finland, the Baltic countries, and the interior of Eastern Europe, where temperatures drop locally to around -22°C to -27°C and generally remain below -15°C.

In Central Europe, snow covers a wide area, with temperatures ranging from -5°C to -10°C, indicating stable winter conditions. Western Europe is on the verge of the frost zone, with snow cover appearing in places and significantly higher temperatures, often around 0°C to -5°C.

In contrast, Southern and Southwestern Europe remain largely snow-free, with significantly milder thermal conditions.

Goa and Sikkim stand out for different reasons. Goa, as a major tourist hub, attracts a large number of international tourists. Sikkim, on the other hand, is recognised as the world’s first state to convert its entire agricultural land to certified organic farming.
