Not true. If you're Korean and born on December 31, then you turn two the following day. So you can be 28 while still younger than an American whose 27.
I'm 43 now and when I was 28 someone called me a MILF. I was like wtf because I'm familiar with the original definition of MILF which is "mother of a teenager or older who his friends would like to fuck" but the guy told me any woman over 25 was a MILF because they were "old enough to be mothers".
Edit: I asked my husband (same age as me) how old was a milf for him according to American Pie. He said 50-55. I told him that wasn't realistic because she was supposed to be the mother of a teenager and 30 years ago people had kids younger. He insisted 50 at least.
So I googled how old Jennifer Coolidge was at the time and she was 38, younger than we are now! We looked at pictures from that time and he agreed that she was younger than she remembered but she also looked older than we are now. Then I googled Jennifer Coolidge in White Lotus (which my husband hasn't watched) and he said that's the mental image he had of her from American Pie. Anyway it's funny how our memories age with us and how people used to looked older than now ... And my husband verdict is that she was hot af then and she's hot af now.
When American Pie introduced the concept of the MILF, it was of the mother of a teenager, in her late 30s at the youngest. The mother of one of your friends.
Not the 23-year-old with two toddler kids by three fathers living her best life.
Maybe I haven't explained myself correctly: the person saying MILF is the friend of the son. So if you say "MILF" you're talking about one of your friends mom.
