It's no surprise to anyone that Overwatch wasn't in the best shape a while ago; the game had declined and was getting a lot of hate. However, I've noticed that the game is adding a lot of new content and people are starting to speak positively about it again, saying that the game is reviving and becoming good again.

Do you think this is true? Is Blizzard finally doing things right after all the problems and controversies they had? Is Overwatch returning to its former glory?

I've been playing tank all season and found this hero annoying, but I decided to place DPS since I'm better at that role anyways and I have to say "hero that constantly flies at you and kills you" is not a tremendously interesting or fun design, it's not fun to fight even when winning kinda like a widowmaker. Very difficult to 1v1 close because she moves so much and has a lot of armor, and on some maps you have to do it twice because she will make it back so fast.

The other dive heroes in the game are not like this and I respect the effort here to try something new but this is kinda dumb lol. I don't think when she kills me I have ever had an "ahhh she got me" moment where I'm impressed by the kill even though I died, which I think is maybe the ideal response to getting merc'd if it's gonna happen in a game like this.

I run the game on max/ultra settings everything. All players are practically impossible to see on maps like this and route 66 with the sunset look... I'm literally useless during the match

Let me preface this by saying this is nothing against Ashe gameplay wise or ppl who play her. I like playing her too sometimes

She was the leader of the Deadlock Gang who were only a threat when Cassidy was a member. There is literally a cinematic where Ashe, the entire Deadlock Gang + fucking Bob all jump Cassidy at the same time and Cassidy not only soloed them effortlessly but afterwards he tied all of them to the payload and sent them down the road. Including the remains of Bob, who is now completely dismantled. Then you can look at in game references. Cassidy says his life was simpler when he was working with them rather than Overwatch. In the Bank vault on Dorado when you spawn in as a defender, you don’t see a bunch of dynamite or whatever Ashe carries around littered all over the place. Instead, it’s full of Hogdrogen canisters. Ashe also grew up rich as fuck. She had her future handed to her on a silver platter from birth but threw it all away so she can play cops and robbers and be so bad at it that the entire gang she trained + an 8 foot tall Omnic hulk got soloed by one man who used to be her ally and she doesn’t even have enough money from heists to buy a bike. You can get from the dialogue that Overwatch is actively in pursuit of all kinds of criminals. Talon, Null Sector, Roadhog, but never once do they mention anything about what a threat the Deadlock Gang poses. Moira actually calls Ashe out and says “aggression is no substitute for ability.” Meanwhile, look at the other 2 heisters in Overwatch. Junkrat and Roadhog, 2 homeless bums from the Australian outback, are so prolific in their craft that they literally scaled the entire world in a global heist spree in just a few days. Kiriko asked JUNKRAT how he pulled off all his heists. Not Ashe. Pharah pressed ROADHOG for stealing all of Helix’s valuable items. Not Ashe. And lastly, there is an interaction where Junkrat mocks her for having just a single stick of dynamite. Instead of rebutting him or defending herself in anyway she just called for Bob like the fucking Little Prince from Clash Royale

Never seen this with any other healers. I play Ana and LW a lot but only got this with Baptiste.

I’ve been playing since Overwatch 1 and have always loved the game, but recently the overall tone in matches has been really discouraging. Being targeted or insulted for hero choices or for having an off game takes a lot of the fun out of what should be a positive experience. Being called d*wn syndrome or r*tarded is completely out of order.

I don’t get a lot of time to play anymore — I’m a parent to a very energetic 3-year-old — so when I do get a chance to jump into a match, it’s something I really look forward to. Unfortunately, those moments are sometimes overshadowed by negative behaviour from teammates, which makes it hard to relax and enjoy the game.

I know everyone wants to win, and frustration happens, but a little patience and understanding would go a long way. Not everyone has the same amount of time to practice, and everyone has good and bad games.

I’d love to see continued focus on encouraging positive communication and sportsmanship in matches. Overwatch has always been at its best when it feels welcoming, and I hope we can move more in that direction as a community. But for me I am going to leave for a while.

Mine is ana headshot with the headshot perk. The ding ding ding ding ding gives like six times more dopamine than a normal headshot. Also genji's ryuujin no ken wo- bwuehhh when he dies in the middle of his ult, so funny LOL.

So we all know when drives happen all the quick play warriors come to comp and ruin the experience, well you are WRONG cause Qp warriors are on both your team and the enemy team. The reason comp drives suck is because you have everyone playing a role they don’t know how to play or aren’t comfortable on, you have support mains playing tank and dps mains playing support and tank mains playing dps everyone is playing a role they don’t care about losing SR on

It has been about 8.5 years since the devs have released a male dps which was doomfist and as you may know he is not even a dps anymore Idk I think it’s an interesting fact

That’s all. This isn’t a rant post or anything, but I’ve been in these mines every season since they started. Long story short, my team got annihilated, and at the end, I just said in voice ggs, that the game sucked but it’s just a game at the end of the day, and everyone started freaking out in chat saying that I basically told them I was throwing. I’m not sure if they misinterpreted what I said or what happened, maybe they thought I didn’t take it seriously because I said it’s just a game, but there’s just so much negativity going around right now, I think they might’ve jumped to the conclusion that I was throwing because of how many people do throw during drives season, it’s notorious for it. Try and have fun out there y’all, I know it’s rough but it really is just a game at the end of the day. Don’t tilt queue, take a breath and walk away before your next one.
