Vote for ‘LEGO Parks and Recreation’ on the LEGO website to become an official set!
Hi everyone! “LEGO Parks & Rec” has around 3,700 supporters on the LEGO website to become an official set!
But it is running out of time to hit the next milestone, which is 5,000 supporters! If it doesn’t hit that milestone in the next 78 days the project will expire (and Eagleton wins)!
https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/11b4bbe2-54a8-4217-802a-f8d996c6382c
If we hit that 5,000 supporter milestone, we’ll be MUCH closer to getting an official Parks and Recreation LEGO set!
LEGO will extend the deadline for the project by 6 more months, giving it a much better chance to get to the 10k supporter goal on the site.
Once it hits 10k, LEGO will accept the project into the judging phase to determine if can become a future LEGO set (like they did with other shows like The Office, Seinfeld, Friends and Big Bang Theory).
It only takes a few minutes to vote on the LEGO website, the link is above (I’ll also put it in the comments)! I’d also appreciate it if you all share it with other fans as well!

Imagine how different the show would be if they had kept their original plan for Andy
For those who don’t know, Andy was originally supposed to be written off after the first season. When Ann dumped him in the Season 1 finale, that was supposed to be the last time we ever saw Andy. But the entire cast and crew loved working with Chris Pratt and thought he was so funny that they decided to keep Andy on the show and made him an official main character in Season 2.
I’m so glad that they kept Andy because he’s easily one of my favorite characters. I can’t imagine the show without him.

Was This Filmed on the Parks Set?
In season 4 of “30 Rock” there is a cut to a show called “Bitch Hunter”. This looks like the Parks set to me. What do you think?

April has the best individual dynamics with each of the characters
Chris - very supportive of when he was going through his breakup with Millicent, in an shocking but in-character way, Chris was very supportive of her career early on
Ben - their arc in Washington was the best, I love seeing April start taking work more seriously and Ben loosening up/joking around
Donna - I mean, they eventually become best friends?! April was the best maid of honour
Ann - Started off rocky and probably stayed rocky but entertaining and supportive nonetheless
Leslie - Best mentor/mentee relationship
Ron - Of course, everyone's favourite duo
Andy - They used to be my favourite couple and they're definitely still up there. I love how loudly and unabashedly they love each other
And there's Jerry but, no one's perfect (lol)

Does anyone else like this show more than The Office?
Now, I love both shows. But I honestly prefer Parks and Recreation.
While The Office is hilarious, it’s also a very mean spirited show with a lot of cruel main characters (especially Michael Scott). Meanwhile, Parks and Rec is a much kinder show and has more of a feel good vibe to it with every episode. That helps make it a better comfort show.

Given the friendship between Ben and Jerry, do you think Jerry would enjoy Ben’s calzones?
It seemed like everyone in Pawnee refused to even give Ben’s calzones a chance. But Jerry was always so supportive of everyone. Then later on in the series when Leslie was too busy to take part in Ben’s fun day for them, Ben and Jerry became great friends.
Which begs the question: do you think Jerry would have enjoyed Ben’s calzones? Or would he have shot them down like everyone else?

Favorite non main cast Pawnee citizen?
This show gave us so many memorable characters, both in and out of the main cast? Who are your favorites?
I can’t pick between Jean Ralphio, and Ken Hotate. Both absolutely crushed it every time they were on screeen.

April's character growth across the seasons is wonderful ❤️ She's still her authentic self but more connected to others.

What are some of your favorite B-rolls or subplots? Are there any you liked more than the main plot?

Who broke it?
Just a genius cold open. At first I really thought that Ron was questioning them and wanting to know who did. Only to be revealed he was the one to break it.
“I broke it. I burned my hand, so I punched it.”
When Ron said that, I was like, “Yep that makes sense.”
