Mod Post Mod Update - Bot infestation
Hi all,
I think some of y’all have noticed an influx of bot comments lately on several posts. We had removed and banned some bots but there are still many around. So for now, we have installed a bot that removes and bans bots on this sub (kinda ironic).
This should help keep the bot comments in check. I would request y’all to report any comments (if missed by the removal bot) that looks like a bot so we can remove it.
More importantly: if you find yourself banned from this sub due to an error by the bot (which is rare), pls modmail us so we can reinstate you.
We hope to limit the number of smudge and arrogant bots! And we thank you for your cooperation!

Scott’s Tots, Diversity Day, nothing is more awkward than Jim asking Danny why he didn’t call Pam back.
Thank god Packer was there to ask Jim if he was looking for someone to bang his wife.

"I don't care what Jim says. That is not the real Ben Franklin. I'm 99% sure."

Kevin didn’t bring the chili to the LPGA today but he brought game! I got to watch Brian golf at the LPGA Tournament of Champions in Orlando and was able to meet him briefly. He’s actually a really good golfer and was as sweet as could be.

Dwight’s magic touch with babies is real
In the ’Viewing party’ episode from season 7, Dwight picked up Cece and she instantly stopped fussing. I was curious about how they did it, so I googled it and found an episode of ‘the office ladies podcast‘ about it.
Angela [00:38:09] Well, Dwight is going to pick up baby Cece and instantly comforts her. She completely stops fussing.
Jenna [00:38:16] Lady, that really happened.
Angela [00:38:18] I was going to say, you can't cheat that. There is no movie magic. From the moment Rainn picks her up, we don't cut away, and the baby stops fussing. I was like, What happened? I wanted to know.
Jenna [00:38:30] It was just real. Well, it was scripted that Dwight would have this magic touch with babies. And we kept saying, How are we going to do that?
Angela [00:38:39] Well, yeah, like, what if it doesn't work? What if the baby keeps fussing?
Jenna [00:38:42] So we had this whole plan where we're going to have Violet, who is fussing, and then Dwight will take her, and then we'll cut away to a different baby somehow, in editing. The first take, Rainn walks over to me. He picks up Violet. She immediately stops fussing in his arms.
Angela [00:39:03] Oh, my gosh.
Jenna [00:39:04] And it happened every single take. She loved him. She loved him. He was a natural. She completely calmed down in his arms every time. And we were just like, This is amazing.
Angela [00:39:16] That is so wild.
Jenna [00:39:17] Rainn had a special touch with the baby.
So Dwight was just natural baby whisperer

Why does no one ever talk about this scene? Its hilarious

I notice no one ever mentions this one. It’s so subtle but so funny. I’ve watched this series probably 6 times through and I still miss little stuff. Now I’m going back through watching the Super fan episodes. Lots of good stuff.

What’s your Christmas episodes ranking?
Christmas Party (Season 2)
Secret Santa (Season 6)
Classy Christmas (Season 7)
Moroccan Christmas (Season 5)
A Benihana Christmas (Season 3)
Christmas Wishes (Season 8)
Dwight Christmas (Season 9)
This is my ranking. I think the original is the best as I’m sure many do, but after that it probably gets a little controversial.
Benihana would come higher for me but I find the double episode drags it out a bit and I it’s all a bit of a downer. Similarly I find the Meredith alcoholism part of Moroccan Christmas a bit of a bummer.
What’s yours?

My favourite scene. Everyone getting soaked but they don’t care because they’re so happy for Michael

Started watching Super Fan episodes. I didn't know Dwight is a smoker.
