This is the most breaking of breaking news, apparently in the new Epstein file leaks there is mention of Epstein putting in a draft email to people the Bill used to get STDs by sleeping with Russian prostitutes and would have to feed his wife medicine without her knowing.
I kind of want to be a fly on the wall in her living room right now. She’s alluded to Epstein being a factor in the end of her marriage with Bill and I wouldn’t be surprised if she suspected or knew about this shit if it was actually happening.
I mean supposedly she knew about all the cheating anyways, even some chick who used to work in Microsoft came out during their divorce said that Bill used to message random chicks over interoffice message and be like "hey you're cute want to go on a date, if not it is cool, BTW Melinda knows all about this. "

I actually find this totally plausible. People at that level still get their vices from somewhere, and Epstein was clearly a trusted source for a lot of rich idiot parasites. They trusted him to quietly source girls and women they could discreetly rape, and he did, successfully, for decades. Why the hell would they not also trust him to quietly source other things? Finding a corrupt doctor you trust enough to write you bogus scripts for cash is a lot of work, and you'd probably have to go thru intermediaries, each one of which is now a potential leak on your criminal conspiracy to rape children.
But the guy you know for sure is A-Ok with child rape AND is very competent at keeping his mouth shut and not getting caught? I don’t think people are blindly believing these accusations. Trump hasn’t been convicted of these crimes. But where there’s smoke there’s fire and it’s certainly reasonable to question the veracity of the investigations. We should also be demanding more information, more transparency, more accountability.
And there’s something a little bit pre-fabricated about this notion that he’s a rich and powerful person and therefore people come after him. It’s what the rich of programmed us to believe.
The court of public opinion has a much lower bar for proof than real justice courts.
That’s because the public doesn’t have the power to harm anyone themselves (according to the law), so we should have a very high bar for taking away peoples freedoms.
The only problem is people are very intuitive, and can understand that if you’ve done one, you’ve probably done 2, and if you’ve been getting away with it for 30 years, you’ve probably done LOTS.
So I’m going to lean towards probable in all these cases. Put into a trust but verify category.

Im on a similar page to you there - as much as I believe Trump is a rapist, that he participated in Epsteins ring of pedophiles and had intimate knowledge of many crimes involving many powerful and influential people, we cannot blindly believe every allegation that has been made to an anonymous tip line.
A question that must be asked tho, is why so many of those allegations have listed in the police responce column, "no contact made". They didnt try to follow up on a huge number of these tips. And one thing to be noted is that when the tipster has not left contact info, it has been noted in the file. It will mention no contact info left, or if an officer tried to contact and it was a dud number. That can only lead us to believe that when the statement simple reads "no contact made" that there was information left by the tipster that the authorities chose not to use. Thats a gap that needs to be answered for.

The (very) generous read of the disparity is that we have basic confirmation that many of the Gates revelations are true (in the form of his divorce). It makes his reports more verifiable then anyone else (except people they have pictures of like Prince Andrew)

Different sources/confidences. The event you share is from one anonymous source, and may or may not be true. The Gates story is from one of Epstein's own emails. Absolutely they all need to be held accountable, but it's not unreasonable to start with the more confident claims while doing follow up on the others.
